Man, I will forever love this song. Hits me right in the feels, and takes me right back to freshman year in college.

Same hereeeeee! I went to sf, biking my way around town, all those hilly sf streets, just to finish to the top of hills to the sound of , "I just wanna worry about those sunshine girls!!!! " OMG HOW GOOD IT IS TO BE ALIVE!

I am so glad they did not stop making music after "Post-Nothing". This song rocks and their new album rocks! Hail to the JAPANDROIDS!

This guitar work is genius. He's basically playing three roles at once (lead guitar, rhythm guitar and bass guitar) and yet he manages to make his guitar sound so rich and clear... It's sad how underrated this band is.

Ya can create that atmosphere by putting a mic directly in front of the amp

This was the first Japandroids song I ever heard, about 3 and a half years ago. Saw them in concert a few months ago. Helluva band, helluva show

After 101 views, how has no one comment on how epic this jam from the Jpndrds ?

don`t know if anyone sent a reply, but they recorded this independently from Polyvinyl who picked them up a couple months after they released Post-Nothing. Polyvinyl just reprinted the album. Tried to post an article from Spin about it, but you can look it up if you like

It's not supposed to sound like this? I heard it like this on future perfect radio and I absolutely had to know who sang it. I've never heard of these people and I would lose the song if I took it off my bookmarks page, but it sounds damn well like this. I don't see how it's a disgrace.

i like the music, but the audio quality is quite poor. i understand the polyvinyl thing, but it sounds so glassy and far too wavy. otherwise, i just started listening to this band and i like what i hear.

yeah it is a disservice, big time - it's a polyvinyl records upload ffs...unless Japandroids wants it this way, which I doubt. I don't know any artist or musician who would appreciate their label or gallery taking such liberties or being so careless with the presentation of their work.

You're completely missing the point. It's a polyvinyl upload. How would you like it if your label didn't give a shit about the sound quality of your music when they uploaded it. Unless Japandroids signed off on it, the label needs to present the music as close as possible to the original recording. And not only for ethical reasons but for selling their product. What if you bought the record thinking it was going to sound like this and it doesn't?
