So it is. Thanks for letting me know. It would have been neat if it was a Pan Am "decorated" plane (private or otherwise).

Sorry, but I was hoping you could answer a question for me? At 9.06 - 9.21 in your video, you can see a Pan Am 747 tail over the wing of the Japanese Air Force One (on teh back right hand side of the video). Can you tell me what it is doing there in Berlin? Much appreciated and thanks in advance. - Fox.

Schönes Video ;) Um welche Uhrzeit sind die denn rausgegangen? Bin leider nach der Hainanlandung nach Hause gegangen (wegen dem Regen)...

space of that area would be shutdown before he arrives, and before he leaves no other plane would be allow to takeoff or land during these period. I would advice you to watch the national geographic program" AIR FORCE ONE" there you would learn all the protocols that takes place whenever an American president goes to country and before he leaves that country for the airport would be shutdown, air space close. It is nothing like what you see on this airport during the Japanese PM departure. good

Now I understand why we are considered a third world country. In Costa Rica our president doesn't have any plane. And for ground transportation, the president moves on a superb 5 year old kia opirus!

So, the US operates 2, maybe 3, old, antiquated 747-200s as "Air Force Ones" while Japan operates 2, maybe 3, much newer 747-400s. Yeah, I can see it. Japan has its shit together.
