I must confess that it´s a beautiful story and I feel identified. Personaly I had two beautiful american akita, and after 11 years of being my friends and an essential part in my life, they died... I think my soul was clearly missing something, becasue just 3 months after being without a dog, my boyfriend used all his savings to give me a gorgeous japanese akita =)... the best gift!

this is awesome! i lost my cat a month ago and it still hurts. i had 3 of these akita as a kid. great dogs. they all hurt when they pass away! good job making your mom smile again!

Just want to give everyone an unfortunate update. . After 11 years with Kiboo. With deep sadness I have to say he passed away. After some health issues he was battling at the last 3 months without us knowing. I got a phone cal while I was away that he wasn't doing well and that something happened with his stomach internally. My world was destroyed and of course my mother's. As you know this was a mother's day gift for her and since tomorrow is mother's day. It's going to be a rough day. Kiboo.. words can't explain how much love and joy you brought to me and watching over my parents. This house will forever be missing you. My world is shattered and I only hope my mother can heal soon. Till we see each other again... I love you.
