Hi everyone! This is a tour of my apartment in a rural city in Miyazaki, Japan.
Miyazaki is on the hot, sunny island of Kyushu, Japan. I've been here on the JET Program for over two years now. My apartment is a 1LDK (living, dining, and kitchen). I pay about $170 in rent each month. Most of the furniture here I got from the person who lived in my apartment previously, but I've also added my own touches by buying some furnishing from secondhand stores and adding plants, etc. I am super lucky to live in this beautiful apartment, although it is a bit old and not as modern as other places, it has the charm of an older Japanese home and it can be beautiful if you decorate it how you like! I like to call my decor style "bohemian minimalist". I hope you enjoy!

hi!! i'm a bookworm who is also planning on doing JET in the future; i was wondering if you find it more difficult to get english novels while living in japan/if u find urself spending more money on books? (this is your first video i've watched so i apologize if you've talked about this in other vids!)
@AnniesBookNook
@AnniesBookNook 3 жыл бұрын
Hey nice to meet you! 😊 yes it definitely is more difficult to find English books here. Maybe if you live in a big city there might be an English bookshop, but not where I am. I use the library app Libby to read English books for free (only ebooks and audiobooks) while I’m here!
