My cousin translates manga to English online, and he mentioned it’s hard sometimes because Japanese has extremely specific onomatopoeia that doesn’t quite exist in English. Watching this, I’m starting to understand what he meant.

みつだんご *because it's not english and everything that is not english is good* just kidding, here's an actual answer maybe it's because of how simple the syllable structure is (having a single consonant followed by a single vowel most of the time) so that makes it sound nice. There is also the element of mystery to it, having all those complicated looking symbols and all, it looks completely foreign and that makes it intriguing. Or it could be the exposure to the language through media such as anime. I don't know, I'm just speculating. We'll probably never find out, since they left their comment about 5 months ago

Ive heard some female ASMRtists use voice changers to make their voice higher pitched before, i know this because sometimes their voice changer glitches and you hear a glimpse of their real voice. Not saying that she is doing that, but its a possibility that she uses a voice changer.

I use this video every night to fall asleep, along with the layered sounds version. Actually, since it doesn't take very long for me to fall asleep after putting on asmr, i always play the video from "biri biri", my favorite part, mostly because the r sort of makes a clicky noise the way you say it. my second favorite being the "fuwa fuwa" because of how gentle it is. I love the way you added hand movements and object movements with the sounds instead of just the sounds. This video is amazing and a literal life saver, if you really think about it. Since if you don't sleep (staying up all night) for a lot of times in a row, you can die, which I almost stayed up all night one night until I found this :) Edit: I spelled something wrong and had to edit it-
It's actually Teku and Kocho but yeah they sound unbelievably alike
