I like that Beasty has the game sound at normal levels. Too many casters have the sound way down and you just can't get a feel for the game.

How does beasty have range circle around he's units when he highlights them? What kind of option is that?

You are talking about the japanese bannermen maybe. It is not an option, the bannermen's range of influence is always visible when selected.
