The reason why her pronounciation is on point is because her language, and mine actually, which is Indonesian, is very flexible when it comes to pronunciation in the first place. We have elements in our language that allows us to recognize familiar sounds in other language and mimic it, or at least learn to mimic it fast if given some time. Whether we actually understand it or not, is a different story.

@Reo no Japanese yes, Indonesian (and by that extension, Malay and Brunei since we originated from the same tongue before we became our own distinct cultures) has a pretty flexible pronunciation. Does help us cope to different languages much easier, barring differences in dialect and slang depending on region. If you look at our vocabulary we have a lot of borrowed words adapted to the common nomenclature, a lot of which are usually some form of Arabic, Sanskrit and various colonist languages like British English (I'm not sure who colonized Indonesia back then so Indonesians feel free to add or correct if I'm mistaken)

i think its true, as indonesian we do have lot of way to pronounce thing, so we used to hear different way to hear a letter pronounce differently. And i believe thats lead to us easy to adapt to other language pronounciation

generally indonesian students has 2 language especially not from Jakarta, Indonesian Language and Local Language (more than 200 native language totally), in elementary school already learn english even if just basic or passiv, some muslim children learn arabs language after school, and some people master it after they grew up, so yeah indonesian language can be flexible because they learn other language to
