I have never driven the struggle bus so hard, lol. Trying to get everything to snap where I wanted it to was a nightmare, but it was absolutely worth it! The most beautiful base I've ever built, by a mile! I'm so happy with it, thank you!

A way to bypass the snapping problem on the corner at 6:00 is 6:34 just do one of the corner roof instead of 2 so 3 regular roof on the shorter side roof, 4 on the other side put a corner between them and it looks like his

Another problem you will run into on official is placing the stone roof pieces. To get them to snap you have to remove the wooden sloped walls and build your roof then go back and add the sloped walls again after the roof is complete.

you can overcome the overlap problem on the entrance and exits (on official) by making triangular foundations and hitting R to make them quarter foundations and extending the front and back a quarter. of course you have to extend the walls out a quarter as well but it works.

You are referring to the overlap of the roof pieces at the beginning arent you because i play on official and really want to go with this style of builds this time around 8 year on ase and building was nothing like it is now thanks for the tip

If I wanted to make this bigger should I go wider and longer or just one of them? How many more can I add to the build for each and then does that make anything not work out?

Longer if you just want more space inside, wider if you want it to be higher. Longer is probably easier!

For official you need a few additions especially the roof parts that overlap

Official settings? Then yes for any overlapping you need a setting turned on for collisions to make it work, which unfortunately they don't allow on official servers.

Hey i just copied this design on the outside at our waterbase location 96.0 22.9 on ASA Official EU5061 PVE sw corner of map. i built the cliffside village there also. But i had to use a full overlap on the wall the 8x way & half overlap on the wall the 11x way. My top part has a clean look. But my corners cant overlap each other so im using the corners to go down between the ramp roof piesin the corners. Its not complete just yet, but hopefully today or tomorrow. Come by & check it out. Maybe do a walk through on the cliffside village & Hilltop Villa, The Chateau & The Pointed Shack above the Cliffside village. Lol. Tribe name is Jesus Built My Hotrod. Human (me) built this area aside from the platform & water cages. @RedDirtRay
