Those pancakes usually have a cheese-filling. If you look at the packaging, you can see a pancake-animation with the cheese-filling. Shouldn't be a problem filling it with something else according to your liking either. Just follow the directions for taiyaki, it's the same (just a different shape). I was thinking that it would be delicious with chocolate or custard. :)

Hail to the Japanese 🙌. In America , the products similar to this come with 200 small pieces that don't always fit well, and end up missing something. And with no directions. 😂 This is fabulous and not only functional but esthetically pretty.
