The smoke was intentional, it was needed to project the lightshow on to. Or did you miss the occassional olympic imagery flashing onto the smoke? London made this display look like a wet candle. These fireworks shown here are simplistic and excessively easy to produce.

I guess you can't buy these fireworks by yourself, I mean personally. But if you pay a lot, you can hire HANABI SHOKUNIN, which mean fireworks professional, to do these kind of fireworks. It is expensive though.

AMAZING !!!!! If you like fireworks you must see Cavallo di Fuoco (in english "The Fire Horse" !!! It's an italian carnival in the city of Ripatransone !!! It consists in a fake horse full of spectacular fireworks, which turns around the sqare dropping fire between the watchers... Write on KZbin: "Cavallo di Fuoco" and enjoy ;)

Obviously he was kidding but I decided to make a big deal out of it out of boredom :). Laws aside, I would not feel comfortable with large professional shells lying around the house. There's a reason why the penalty for storing pro fireworks in occupied buildings (and other unapproved places) is so harsh. For one, if there is, heaven forbid, a fire....you are putting the Fire Dep. and your family in grave danger with shells that big. I wouldn't want the FBI knocking down my door either...

It might be boring who expects fireworks to be more colorful. But this firework is one of Japanese culture. Man this is not really firework but is H-A-N-A-B-I. Japanese hardcore fireworks. I wish you understand.
