Feels like home for me too since a very very young age. But Japanese are not Okinawan and they frequently are treated differently. Especially if you’re Ainu. Japanese began with the Yayoi period. Before Japan Okinawa and Hokkaido used to be part of the many that were of the Jōman tribes. Jōman were one of three or 6 groups on that island that were the more original peoples. Okinawa is a remnant. Which is why it has a totally different energy. Very healing! ❤️❤️❤️

@@ShinchokuShogunate I don't think ypu the history than. Okinawa is as Japanese as Hong Kong is Chinese. Okinawa has his own dialect and folk music. In this son they sing Okinawan and not Japanese. If you call an Okinawan Japanese you could offend them.
