Yaaay, Gyôza~! My entire family loves gyôza and we homemake them every once in a while. I found cilantro leaf adds some deep flavor, something totally different than the one when it's uncooked. Shiso sounds interesting, too! I'll try it out next time.

We love gyoza. At a Japanese cooking class, Tomosan showed us to fry them in a bit of oil (1-2 Tbsp) then add a cup of water, cover and finish steaming them. They were great and I always make them that way now. Only steamed are mushy to me and only fried are too crunchy now. Loved the video!
