I totally agree with you that hospitals & care facilities in US should spend more money on creating the garden areas that gives out the energy similar to Japanese gardens. I find that gardens really has great healing power. I hope that creation happen soon.

What a beautiful place where residents can relax and spend time alone or with friends and family. The treatment centre where I spent many hours sitting, while receiving Chemo, was set out with a staggered cubicle design with floor to ceiling glass walls looking out onto a small courtyard. Magnolias we’re in full bloom surrounded by a simple “modern” style Japanese garden of rocks and shrubs. It made the whole experience seem not so bad.

I think it's difficult for westerners to replicate these types of gardens - unless they've studied under a master.

That's cause he's putting out a meme. Try the book Japanese Garden Design by Marc Keane for inspiration. Should be in your local library but it's on the internet to purchase.
