I couldn’t find a pretty gift box and this is much better. I modified my wrapping a bit and it’s still pretty. The technic is most important, which makes it pretty. I couldn’t attach the picture I took. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This video shows great technique, but also afyer watching many Japanese wrapping video I have had to notice the huge amount of paper you literally waste. Paper is actually made out of trees, and the excess of paper you misuse ensues in trees being abated. That's honestly unacceptable, not to mention the chemicals requested to make the paper, colours etc. Really unethical.

I appreciate your opinion and totally support it. As much as I can, I encourage people to reuse and recycle. Yes, not all paper is made equal and some are more recyclable than others, to put it that way. I do my best to choose handmade Japanese papers, supporting Japanese paper artisans. Also constantly use recyclable paper from Love Vivid and Wrappily, who again are made by local people in India and Hawaii. I've said it always and say it again, let's choose our paper carefully and mindfully. I'm really happy to "hear" what you just said, it gives me courage to continue to promote a thoughtful and more meaningful gift giving custom.

@@ShihoMasuda I appreciate your reply and the fact you use recycled paper, and I hope I'm not being unkind if I remark that a very small percentage of the nice paper is actually made out of recycled paper. Most of the wrapping paper is not of the recycled kind and the fact it's handmade doesn't help the trees. And, I must insist on reminding the fact trees are our lungs, literally. So yes, let's choose our paper carefully and mindfully, but even before that let's use much less paper. Thank you. Have a great day.
