the most common phrase we use in ordering food is "pabili po", you can add "nito" when you specify what you want (like saying "this") basically "nito" means "this", so you can say "pabili po nito" while indicating the food you want and/or "pabili po" which means "can i buy". Also you are learning tagalog very fast, and your experience in the philippines will definitely improve your tagalog. Waiting for more content, specially when your brother comes along. Ingat!

Hello po Yuki-san! I'd like to share constructive criticism on your Tagalog in this video. It's nice to see you and your brother eagerly learning tagalog ☺️ 1. When you order, instead of "kukunin ko po ito" you can say- "Isa pong __" meaning one ___, please, whichever food you are ordering ☺️ If you have a menu with you, you can also point to the food and say "ito po" if you have a hard time pronouncing the food. also, don't be shy to ask servers and cashiers about the menu! 2. Instead of magandang amoy, you can say mabango, or for food, you can say "masarap na amoy" or "amoy masarap" 3. When you ask for someone's name in a polite way, you can ask "ano pong pangalan niyo?" Or "ano pong pangalan ninyo?" If you're speaking to more than one person I hope you had fun in your travels!

in textbook, kukunin ko ay adobo is correct but in conversational filipino "kuha ako ng adobo" or if you want respectful, you should say "pasuyo po ng adobo"

say mabango instead of magandang amoy. If using bigyan, say it bigyan mo po ako ng isang yumburger (one yumburger) as an example. We often times don't use the word bigyan when ordering at the counter... we just say like "isang yumburger" (example only)
