I add much more salt to the water, especially when the eggs are straight out of fridge (before that they had frequently cracked in hot water for me and more than a half of a white has spilled into the pot 🙄). Cold water afterwards is a must especially when I want to peel them later. Sometimes I knock the middle part of the egg and roll it on the counter to crack it from the longer side. I like your videos, they are very peaceful and relaxing. Thank you for your work.

Dear Haru , I hope this note finds you well 😊 . I noticed you mentioned the difficulty of finding rice ? I wonder if all of the huge typhoons had a effect on the rice growing areas 🤔 ? The two hurricanes we had here have really ruined many crops and farms here . Now we have huge regions suffering drought … driving up prices on food even higher ☹️ . Fish , beef , chicken and pork are expensive. Even vegetables have gone up in price due to the combination of bad weather , flooding then drought . I hope prices will go down 🤨. Your ramen with the marinated eggs looked delicious ! All the best to you !😊

tips for boiling eggs: Just put little water in the pot without make the eggs shrink. And then close the pan with lid. Or measure the water for 1table spoon = 1 egg (i recommend to add extra water to avoid burning)

Hi Haru. Another interesting cooking video for me. Shoyu Ramen is beautifully cooked and well presented, but I like to add nori for extra crunch. The most impressive part is your skill in slicing the amberjack for sashimi. It's very difficult to slice it correctly to get the right appearance and texture. I don't have the patience and skills to do that😂.

Heyy you should at least wait 30 minutes after a meal to brush. Cause the food particles need time to properly absorb themselves in our gums and teeth. Otherwise, the same food particles when mixed with toothpaste, they actually turn into poisonous and create fungus and bacterial infections

Do you ever worry that you might get food poisoning or a upset stomach? I love trying new foods but a few years ago I got a severe case of gastroenteritis that put me in the hospital. I was in for about a week & ever since then I've been afraid to eat sushi or anything on the rare side. I'm also allergic to eggs so I have to be really careful. I do wish I could get over this phobia. 😏
