More than considering hijab as culture, its actually an obligation for us muslim women to wear hijab. But yeah these days hijab is becoming more as material that considered as fashion. Islam tho did not forbid slavery , but in the first place incouraged people to buy slaves to set them free, But if you don't, you still have rules according as to how to treat slaves , Concerning women slaves for example , intercorse is permitted with their owner , but if she conceives , he is no longer permitted to sell her as slave, his son is legal and free (not the man's slave) But thank god slavery nowadays is no more . Also , prophet Mohamed ﷺ said : three kinds of people have a double reward :" ....(till the third is) and a man who owned a slave girl so he desciplined her well and educated her well then freed her and married her) .

I'm impressed with your friend's knowledge about hijab 👍 hijab was obligated for Muslim women as mentioned in the Al-Quran; so that other people will recognize us as muslim & being protected. Hijab can be fashionable, but we need to always remind ourselves about the purposes of hijab. The key is moderate. We can be presentable without jeopardizing the Islamic rules & values. Lol first time I look at Poko I thought he's our Malaysian diver, Bryan Nickson. 😆 Well done NobuShun! From my simplified observation, Japanese seems to have an above average knowledge about muslim women's hijab and Islam in general. That alone gave an impression that Japanese people value knowledge of the world. In my opinion, hijab or women hair covering is primarily about modesty. To a certain extent, an overly fashionable hijab might be a little misleading and trigger some vanity which might be a complete opposite of the main purpose of wearing it. Anyway all ladies that you shown to your friends are definitely kawaii. 😍

lol in the first part the girl with the turban is a famous painting named the girl with the pearl. personally I don't wear the hijab.. but I find that some young girls can afford to be super classy with the hijab.. but not everyone has the means to wear a quality hijab or to pay for it. make up or fashion accessories... normally if you wear the hijab you must be humble before god and before ordinary mortals and not enter a beauty contest.. that's called vanity... I find more pretty a girl who practices that faith humbly.
