Decided to watch this without subtitles, and although I couldn't understand about 99% lol, it felt great to catch sentences like "Watashi wa Biru nomimassu" and "Okaiike koko desu ka". I still have a long way to go, thank you so much for the lesson.

Question Sayaka sensei. When sharing a table (or being alone) while eating food, is it common to wait for the whole order to arrive before start eating?? It seems so respectful and also very shocking at the same time! Sending love from Spain!🫶 ありがとございます🥳
@NihongoDekitaАй бұрын
If you’re sharing the dishes with others, it’s common to start eating when the food comes to the table. But if everyone ordered their own food and yours came first, it’s more respectful if you waited for others to have food on the table. ☺️🙌🏻🙌🏻

I've been studying Japanese for a while but I'm pretty sure the only words I ever needed to learn were ありがとうございます. That's 90% of what Japanese people say to each other the other 10% is すいません or ごめん.

I have a question: Gendered role language in Japan is quite prevalent and if a man copies women too much when learning he might sound like a woman (or a not straight man) to natives later, are you making your videos be gender neutral so that men can also copy your expressions?
