On a pond with an auto top up (very funny I might add 😂) wouldn't it have been better to fit a small pump fed combi drum as the auto top up needed is already in place ? Plus you can use one amalgam UV inside the drum itself instead of two conventional UV's ! Yes more it's expensive (the guy definitely isn't short on money 😆) but I feel this situation would have been perfect for one ?

@@koiservices6694 some people just don't understand fish grow and when they do grow your filtration needs to grow alongside them. I guess it's the same as some people thinking a Toshiba looks the same as a Samsung and that there's no difference between 720p 1080p & 4K 🤦‍♂️

Thanks for watching and commenting you are A legend 👊🏽 Yes fluke p is good 👍🏽 the problem is with gill flukes is they attack the gills and the koi can’t breath , how bad the damage is I don’t know and can only hope 🙏🏽 I recon if we don’t loose any in the next 5 days then in the new clean pond with proper filtration the will make it . I would pp the entire system mate but imo this should be standard now , and then for the new filter you need a bio gloop mix to speed it up or new pond syndrome on established collection is crytical mate ! And likely ! Also pp the vat they in for final 3 mins before you re introduce them

Thanks for watching you Legend 👊🏽 I’m going to use CT to go over the pond before I jet wash it off again . And because they are gill flukes I’m going to have to treat again . I wouldn’t recommend PP , because the water temp is like 20 in the pond , I’ve set the vat up in complete shade but the air pump is going to warm the water . The pond is established 👍🏽 so there is good bacteria everywhere. I will put some of the old media in the new nexus . He’s just going to have to cut back on the feeding for a while .

@@koiservices6694 i totally agree on telling him to cut back the food!👌🏻 ,and you can get away with adding bact to the nexus , but pp is definitely important or at the least give them a good salt treatment in the vat before release , as you know yourself if great for stress and lots of minor bact issues the treatment didn't fully kill off , loving ya content I'm addicted to anything koi /pond related but you are a decent guy and it shines through the cam 👍🏻

@@Koi-addict33 appreciate your love for koi bro 👊🏽 but I’m not going to put the koi through PP with damaged gills in water above 20dc . They have been through enough 🙏🏽 the treatment will kill the evil b#stard gill flukes , the pond will be sterilised with CT and second treatment I recon will be enough 👊🏽 poor koi are lucky to be alive 🙏🏽 Get where you are coming from 👊🏽 Nice 👍🏽
