The place I walked around is the center of Kanazawa City, where Kenrokuen, Kanazawa Castle Park, Ishikawa Prefectural Museum, National Crafts Museum, Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History, etc.
A part of 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art appeared in the video too.
I hope you'll enjoy walking around there with me :)

Your video feels like an asmr. Can't stop watching them. I live in a country which is too crowded and filled with people and there are no places like these. This place is looking soo peaceful. My dream is to move to japan and I'm working hard for that. Thanks for your videos. It not only teaches japanese but also motivates me to work hard so I can finally move to japan.

Wow, Fumi ❤ This is exactly what I was looking for. A native "mom" that speaks in a clear and simple way. It is so relaxing and the video is so beautiful. Since I've been to Japan once, I feel like I'm there and I love the mood when walking in Japan. Thank You. And I love your effort of teaching us the phonetics, intonations and pitches. Very well done and great work in detail. Thank you ❤

I was surprised when you said 信号が青いになった, as I've learned japanese mainly by watching anime (I did look at basic grammar and Hiragana/Katakana). Turns out, 青い can mean blue AND green, depending on context. I'm sure, there's even more context that I'm missing but I thought it to be very surprising. Thank you for your videos, they really help me!
@AndrewTSq
@AndrewTSq 3 ай бұрын
When I googled it, it seems to mean "green" as a beginner in something? not the actual color green? I might be wrong :) In swedish we say "Jag är helt grön på detta" (I am completely green in this" like "I do not know how todo this" is the meaning :)
@SpeakJapaneseNaturally
@SpeakJapaneseNaturally 3 ай бұрын
Schmendiey-san, Yes, when we refer to the green of the traffic light, we always use blue. By the way, it's 青になった, not 青いになった(you don't need い after 青 in this case.) But usually we use 青 for blue. Some exceptions are traffic light and sometimes green vegetables. You've learned a lot from anime. Wonderful😊

Your videos are great, learning/exposure really feels effortless when it's in such an engaging format. I recommend them to everyone I know looking for Japanese resources online. One question I have though, that I don't really know how to approach even after a few years of study, is how do you parse the difference between what look like synonyms when you translate them to English, but actually aren't? For example, 天然 vs 自然, 意思 vs 意志, 様々 vs 色々, 実現 vs 実施, etc. Some are actual synonyms, but some have nuance that Japanese to English dictionaries can't/don't explain. Are the differences obvious to natives who understand the wider meaning of the kanji better, or is there some other way to understand their differences more fully?Thank you!
@SpeakJapaneseNaturally
@SpeakJapaneseNaturally 3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment and recommend my videos to people. It's very encouraging! About your question, immersion is one way to learn the difference and usage of words. I'm making a video about it and it will be released hopefully in Oct. 5th, so please stay tuned. But for 意思 vs 意志, which has the exact same sound, even Japanese people know the difference for sure. I think most of us look up the usage on the net and decided which one to use. That ones are the difficult to differentiate😅
