Welcome to Daisen-Oki National Park! In this video we'll walk from the gate of Daisen-ji Temple hrough the forest up a 1,300 year old stone road to Ogawamiyama Shrine on the base of Mt Daisen in Tottori prefecture. This is one of my favorite walks on the west side of Japan.

John, absolutely LOVE watching your videos every single second - always. Been following your channels for more than 7 years now. Stunningly beautiful videos of the nature walk in Japan (in 鳥取県). However, I am really turned off by Dean's inability/reluctance to wear his mask the proper way. No offense to Dean ...but he needs to learn to wear his mask correct way! This is not about Dean himself per se... If the mask is too small and tight for Dean to put on, get a more breathable and proper mask!

If Dean isn't going to cover his nose he might as well take the mask off. At least he wont spread Covid from his chin, the old people are safe...

Yes I agree. I live with two people who are at risk. If a person won't wear it over their nose why bother?
@bigdaddy4432
@bigdaddy4432 3 жыл бұрын
@Zero Cool if he's breathing through his nose uncovered its like he is wearing nothing. If the mask is like a prophylactic keeping what you possibly have from infecting others then wearing your mask just over your mouth with your nose uncovered is like cutting the tip off of your condom. Useless. John likes to point out how Japan is in a better place than other countries right now when it comes to Covid. But that's because of the high compliance rate of it's citizens wearing masks and sanitizing/social distancing. Everyone doing their part no matter how uncomfortable it makes you keeps the whole safer.
@bigdaddy4432
@bigdaddy4432 3 жыл бұрын
@Zero Cool sure it may help when he talks, but half measures are risky during a pandemic. Especially if you are going to be around others . You don't know if those people are at higher risk because of underlying health conditions. Risking others for your own momentary comfort , when it could be deadly is the height of selfish irresponsibility and it's something that is happening far too much lately. It's not something that I personally want on my conscience, everyone should take a hard look inside and ask themselves if that is something they are willing to live with. Making excuses for these lapses in public safety lead to others becoming lax and inattentive. We are coming into a time of year when other viruses are going to start impacting populations harder, we need to stay vigilant and strong in our fight. Everyone is getting fatigued with restrictions and social distancing and they just want their lives back to normal. I believe it's through everyone doing their part we will get there sooner.
