It’s no joke that Dendrobium moniliforme are very cold tolerant. I live in Japan and have never kept mine indoors. They routinely get buried in snow every winter and always come back no problem. Thanks for the tip about abusing them because I have some out in my garden growing in wood and on a kawara (old style roof tile) piece that always make tons of blooms but the mounted ones up on my porch that I tend to much more produce tons of keikis. Now I know! Don’t water them too much!
