I’m Japanese. Poor English, sorry. In Japan, ice hockey is minor sports. So, I want to contribute to develop Japanese ice hockey. Aito Iguchi is our hope. Good luck Iguchi.

KerryPark Islanders26 no dank , u not notice he's alone on the ice? No minor league coach would want a shinny star and I have faith he'd have a much different game plan in a game than dangling in the corners constantly. I believe he'd play a much simpler game while keeping his head up a lot more in a game with contact

He’s not going anywhere, he doesn’t weigh anything. He’ll get killed as soon as he goes overseas to North America to play. Dangles isn’t gonna get him anywhere, he has to be a good hockeyplayer too.

Best part of this video aside of Aitos enthusiasm, he's skating OUTSIDE! Something kids in the USA have long forgotten about. I didn't know anyone played hockey in Japan. Best of luck Aito! Your off to a good start! Never let anyone tell you you can't do it! Keep setting your goals higher!

definitely good for such a young kid in a country where hockey is not the main sport, great job! I did notice when he is turning, the inside skate is coming up, meaning he needs to get stronger on his edges. But, great puck handling, looks like he's enjoying himself.

Credit to this young man. He clearly has put in the hours of work to develop his individual skills. Looks to have decent hands and edges. I think those that pointed out the negatives made valid points but the criticism would be received as constructive if the positives were also noted. The one thing that is a challenge and is usually a major setback is the lack of strong in game competition. So once someone such as Aito steps on the ice in a game, he won't see the ice as those of us in north america tend to. This is where we see a lower IQ. Best thing for someone with a true passion and desire to get to the next level is to face stronger competition. At the AAA level you see that as a major factor and how it separates from AA and lower.
