Azis is from the Gypsy minority in Bulgaria. The video you saw is from his earliest years when he was as controversial as possible in order to get the attention. And he did. His present day outlook is quite normal. In fact he is a normal guy with a family and kids. TOTO's song can't be felt by foreigners because its mostly the text that matters. Yet the video has more than 30 mln views. Usually, if a Bulgarian music video has over 10 mln, it means it has gone international. Krisko is the most famous (and thus loved and hated) singer in this genre. BAZOOKA is not his best song, IMO. Slavi Trifonov is a legend - again loved and hated a lot. He has been almost all kind of a performer for the past 30 years being a comedian, having his own late night talk show, now even his on TV and a singer. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6LUl5qaa8mKqKc

Bulgarian here. You don't even touch to bg music. These singers that you show are so so. They are like Chernobyl. Not good but not terrible The most mind blowing hip hop band is called Upsurt/Ъпсурт and is amazibfg. Rael poetry with great rhymes and feelings. In 90-eens they broke our necks with universal hit "Non stop Indian conop (hemp) it's facking amazing in times when there were no discs but cassettes. Then absolute hit" Kolega" in Spanish Trabaho, in English Colleague, this song is а cut of Bulgarian reality in 90's and beginning of 2000 . So awesome that Bulgarian deputy said that the song must be learn in Schools. If you don't know Bulgarian you will like Upsurt but if you know Bulgarian language you will fall in love with this band. It's a real mother fucking modern poetry with so genius rhymes that you will have orgasm in some moments. 😂

Hop, it penetrates little by little Hop, move slowly and slowly Hop, it's the moment for you to put in The rhythm of the love! kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmrWgo2CqdiZppo Azis is a Bulgarian of the Roma decent.
