I think your cherry tomatoes are growing very quickly on your veranda. I am not watching from work today as I am at home because my mood is low, but watching you brings me great peace 🕊️. Best wishes from Northern Ireland.

The first few flowers on a lot of vegetable plants are usually not fruiting ones. The fruiting ones are female. The first ten or so flowers are male. Then they start to set fruit. This is most common in squash and pumpkin, but they all can do it.
In the Netherlands we eat 'slavink'. Thats minced pork or beef with bacon around it. We traditionally eat it with potatoes and veggies but you can eat it with rice as well. I think you will like it!

Greetings. Your garden is lovely , the flowers need a bigger pot, larger than what your peppers are in. They are Zinnias and need more root room, to grow big and strong. Thank you for sharing your life and family with me/ us.

I have the same, sometimes I just give my daughter sweet bread for breakfast, usually here that means like chocolate spread or sprinkles on some bread and perhaps something we call an eierkoek. It's a disk shaped bread made with lots of eggs and is sweet. I think it is a typical Dutch bread item. It's what you said with the snacks, a balanced diet is important so once in a while a breakfast like that or some snacks is no problem if they eat healthy overall. The marinated tomatoes look delicious! Prefect with some grilled meat or fish. In the summer when the weather allows it we like to use the grill outside. Anything I can prep before hand is great. I wonder if I can cook the yakiniku onigiri on my grill as well. Perhaps I should try that this summer. That kombu tsuyu is so great. I have it as well and one of the ways I use it is to make a quick oyakodon.

Hi Linna! I apologize for not commenting lately; I am well, I just have been very busy with my summer job. I work open to close, 4 out of 7 days of the week and I am very tired, but it is good money and I am saving up for something special at the end of the year. I am on track to make my money goal by October! I hope you and your family are well, and thank you for the upload, as always.

Hi Linna, your poor flowers, normally they do well but, not in that container, it is too shallow and the roots get hot and dry and die. I like to look at it like they need to keep there toes in cool soil to be comfy. I hope this helps🪴

I love the taste of fresh lemon in my mineral water...it's carbonated & tastes so refreshing, especially love it ice cold!! I still, to this day, always purchase Korea soy sauce...I got hooked on it, while I was living in S. Korea. I usually buy the same brand all the time...maybe I should try other brands too. Thank you for sharing, dear, sweet Linna. Blessings to you & the "boys" too.♥
@LinnainJapan3 ай бұрын
Soy sauce is quite the key in Asian cooking, I think, and changing the brand might causes a lot of adjustments in the cooking, so I am just like you, I like to stick to the same brand 😅 lemon squash is my favorite too ☺️💕
