Japanese Song - Song Of The Nation (民族の歌)

Wow that was long with many verses; this song was written in 1969, and discusses themes like modern Japan being weakened; it does make sense because post-war Japan was subject to emasculation heavily, mostly by the USA, for example with the introduction of "Corporate Bushido", loyal to your work at the expense of literally everything else.

That was a long project for me, lots of rewriting of lyrics and translation. This song was VERY HARD to translate because there were many references that can't really be translated in English, and the usage of writing was unconventional to say the least, so point out any mistakes (I'm not native Japanese). Example include "悪政国", which stands for a tyranny country. I don't know if the word refers to Japan government (which the song also critiques) or "tyrannical" countries

The Korean movie "My way" is quite action packed (very fun to watch, not much boring dialogue) and has a fairly lengthy section dedicated to life under Imperial Japan and being in IJA
