Looked like a great day hike. Love how the Japanese decorated that bridge.

Cub scouts are everywhere. I passed many more on the trail as I was leaving...looks like another few dozen were heading to the same spot.

Good video. I'm looking forward to seeing your Mt. Fuji vlog. It is quite a barren mountain close-up, and over commercialised, but still a rewarding experience. You'll like the Japanese Alps, Mt Yari is an enjoyable slog.

Thanks a lot. They are definately my favorite ones to make....I get to run around in the forest when I film them! When I learn more about hiking and collect some info.....I'll post it!

No, not yet. I've only been hiking around Kobe on the Mt. Rokko range. I've only been in Japan for 5 weeks. Sooooo many more places to go hiking!

Looks like you had a good time. Your hobbies are so much healthier than mine! LOL.

hehe...I have only turned a new leaf in the last year and a half. My hobbies in Korea included ...well...standing in clubs 3 nights a week drinking beer! My ever shrinking liver is a fan of Japan! lol

Definitely on my bucket list! Including a few other places on all four major islands in Japan.

Yeah. I have to do some more reading on the topic. This is the fun part of being in a new country...sooo many interesting things to learn about the culture!

This is still my favorite of your videos. It was the first one I watched and I get a kick out of the toilets at 2:05 as you did years later with your son - (Hiking Adventure: The Emperor's Birthday at 8:49) - what has happened to your hair?!?

Yeah....a false sense of adventure and intrigue along the paved trail! Well..the entire thing wasn't paved. There were dirt parts:)
