You should see the Hori 1 in blitz. It has a base top speed of 45kph and reverses at 20kph. The premium AP is busted there, penning 380-399mms of armor. It literally lolpens badgers and kranvagns.

I gave in and purchased 50 of the recent loot boxes and so I've been playing the Ka-ri lately and have found it a pretty good tank. The 500 alpha is nice and it has good speed both forward and especially backwards. It's a good performer generally speaking, if you like TDs.

"Super heavy TDs" with lacking frontal armor. I feel like piloting those would just be suffering in that way.... but the Ho-Ri 3's 3,600 dpm (all upgraded) with 700 alpha sounds VERY appealing... Also, a turbo plus field tuning would make that Ho-Ri 3 QUITE fast for a big tank. Not quite 268v4, but pretty quick.

Interesting to see how WG has done these compared to Blitz…although I think Blitz did them better. Like PC, the Tier 7 is absolutely cracked (or was, it got nerfed a bit) but the Tier 8 is much better- it’s got a ton more mobility so it can play a good support role. The tier 9 and 10 are also pretty good, filling the niche of somewhat mobile armored tanks with good guns.

The tier 10 pc is also pretty good I'd imagine. An ambush tank which has a nice gun with some armor, 21-23 kmh reverse speed depending on your setup, 44 top speed with the engine power to actually able to reach that top speed. Only bad thing is camo, and I guess the upper plate could be a little better but hey we dont want another 268 v4 in the game

As much as I like blitz, they need to stop adding T8 premiums. This is really off topic but this is the only chance I’m gonna get to say about it for a while, every tank they add always has brilliant turret armour with amazing gun depression and sometimes penetration: because of this they always have hull down gameplay which makes it so unfair for players just trying to progress in the games tech tree where all the tanks aren’t hull down based. It’s ridiculous, players don’t use the side scraping mechanic anymore because flat terrain areas are not optimal for this new hull down meta making certain tanks not viable to play since they have such a difficult time on hilly ridges. Almost every game there is a no - 1 player split between which side to play on. The area with spiked hills or ridges is always optimised it’s getting ridiculous.

I've had a play with the Ho-Ri 3 on the test server, and it's quite fun. Reasonably mobile, nice accuracy, nice durability. Doesn't feel over or underpowered, which I think is perfect.

The tier 6 looks like an old Army Hut atop an old Caterpillar bulldozer with a gun sticking out of it. It looks pretty decent built up properly, the 10.5cm looks perfectly workable all things considered, a slightly less alpha Bassotto's gun but with better normalization as it's firing AP instead of APCR, looks pretty decent so far, and who doesn't want to drive a greenhouse or army hut on tracks? I don't really care if it's bad or not. It's an old school glass cannon, and glass has sucked for years on end. That and it's just such an odd looking machine.

The Ji-Ro is SPG variant based on the Type 95 Ro-Go which is a inter-war design, fun fact i guess. There is also a open top variant this one is in the war thunder.

Quite weird how the tier 10 for PC is the tier 9 in Blitz. From what I know, if the PC's tier 10 is the same as the tier 9 in blitz it's that the upper plate is an auto ricochet Edit: So it is an autoricochet, but it's much weaker than I thought. The one in blitz has over 500+mm effective armor on the upper plate on flat ground which is literally impossible to penetrate. However the superstructure is 250mm effective.

I've been playing the tier 6 Ji-Ro for a few weeks now, and on my opinion, that thing is not that bad at all as a sniper that has some decent armor (if matched up on a -1 or -2 match) and the gun actually hits hard. Given the fact that there are some tier 5 (or if you're lucky, tier 4) that have the same or twice the alpha damage that the top gun of the Ji-Ro have as HP, yeah, it really does hit hard. It has a better rate of fire than the SU-100 with the top gun, standard pen is okay, the gold rounds is good and the H.E is decent for taking out lightly armored tanks. It's better to play the tank as an assassin/opportunist, where you let the enemies push a flank, then hit them when they least expect. I've ammo racked a lot of HT No. 6 and Tiger 131 with the tank. It also loves hitting snipers at the back of the map and the accuracy is pretty decent. However, you can achieve those results if you already have a 100% crew because, playing stock, is really hard. But once you got the top gun, things are a whole lot different. Just don't play it as an assault td, or you will go back to the garage easily. I play it with two sets of equipment. I put vents, gun rammer and turbo for city maps, then on open maps with a lot of bushes, I drop the vents to put in a gun rammer, a turbo and binoculars.

It’s funny that in Blitz Chi-To SP literally equipped 8.8cm Pak 56 from the Tiger I. Then upgraded gun is 105mm. Tier VIII Ho-Ri II in Blitz they Called it Ho-Ri I and it does have good gun 120mm and surprisingly same stats as PC apart from Gun Dispersion which in Blitz this gun works like a shotgun. Oh and PC armor up to 220mm while in Blitz only has 190mm thick and this will lead it to Tier IX too. Not very solid armor if you asked me. Tier IX Ho-Ri I, in Blitz is actually Tier X with standard AP pen of 310mm I guess stock AP is too much for Tier X in PC I guess, but again the damage is 560 instead of classic 640 eventho the gun is 14.9cm which is weird, considering that Japanese have 155mm Naval Gun from Mogami Class Heavy Cruiser. Tier X Ho-Ri III AKA in Blitz is Tier IX with 127mm stock gun and 14.9cm Upgraded gun, it has slight nerfed stats but most part is very what Ho-Ri III is in PC. However, this gun in Blitz is garbage and inaccurate but again, Tier X Ho-Ri armor is also bad. Only have 250mm Flat armor. From my testing for a game or two with this thing. The gun is very accurate compares to Blitz Counter Part which is surprising. and it felt quite good to use them. Load Gold against some heavies literally just butter them through. Maus have difficult time against this thing due to the fact that this gun can butter Maus’ Hull Upper Plate. Oh and Tier X in Blitz Ho-Ri max Speed is 50km/h. Yeah, it’s super fast.

QB, I see that you're repeatedly suggesting that we research gun first and then engine and then tracks cause the gun doesn't need the tracks.... but have you checked with equipment? Very often if a tank can mount an upgraded gun on stock tracks, it has so little load left that it can't e.g. mount both vents and rammer on top of it. Did you verify that?

Compared to blitz: Blitz line starts at tier 7 from chi-to, here it starts from tier 5 with the new tanks to fill in the gap- seems like all bad lol Chi-To SPG: LMAO THEY MADE THE STOCK GUN WORSE from 8,8cm down to 7,5cm gj WG exp tactics intrestingly, top gun seems to be nerfed from 10,5cm down to 10cm annnd it's depression also got nerfed, yikes instead it seems to got a armor upgrade, from decent AP passage to thicc Hori-1: name changed to match irl stuff i think. the gun is direct copycat aside from slight pen buff to match PC stats i assume. Top speed got a -15km/h hit, yikes almost everything stayed the same aside from the top of the tank with the overmatching plate cuz i dont think that was pennable with 100mm borrat. Hori-3: Switched places on T9-T10 like the Yohs did, name changed again. Mobility is about same as the OG tier go which is hori-3. Gold pen nerf starts, down from 340 to 315. Dont PC have more broken heavy armor than us? Superstructure got buffed by 50mm, must've been buffed to match PC statistics. Hori-2: like said above, got swapped. since it has sloped armor that bounces almost anything, must've been an easy decision. the UPPER GLASIS WAS NERFED BY 90mm yikes, that means it can be penned easily unless you really work it. in blitz the og t10 had what is essentially a railgun instead of 250 frontally entirely. the one on PC seems less powerful but more versatile. in Blitz the prem had 380 base pen, and 399 with upgrades making almost every tank like butter, seems like they nerfed it by 15mm so not that great compared to Jageroo's 420mm HEAT. overall: got thiccer, got slower, lost the gun a bit. sad, cuz in blitz it's basically the gun carrier, think of the good ol ISU-152 back in the day with BL-10, but on a tier 10 with same scaling every tier 8 heavy felt in front of the thing. now it seems... average.

300 mm flat plate at t9 a good armor? and as for t10, dude, look at the upper sloped plate!!!! good amount of armor to go around...... hehehehe:) 190-230 effective....

Quite unique and feels balance, like if the hori on wot is like on wotb, its gonna be insane, troll armor, insane pen, blazzing speed and good dpm, guess in wot I should play the hori as a sniper or a support and not super agressive bastard hehehehehehehe
