Japanese Toyota Hilux Surf Brochure From 1990's

This is the brochure I received with my JDM 1994 Toyota Hilux Surf SSR-X Widebody. Pretty interesting to look through if you're a fan of these trucks. Unfortunately 90% of the text is written in japanese, which I can't read, but adds to the authenticity ;)

My old man had the red over painted grey bumpers SSR-X wide body with that that nudge bar and the rear tyre carrier. He also had the yellow bosch foglamps on the nudge bar. This was way back in around 1998 when he imported one from Japan to Aus

Some 4Runners do have the rear heater. My '90 does.. Would rather have the center console space.

Damn those seats are nice. I own the SSR-G but with the other seats for some reason :(

Very interesting video. I know someone in Manitoba with an SSR V6. Kind of odd to import one. I've got an SSRX with a 2LT-E and will probably be moving to alberta very soon and bringing it with me

I too find it odd seeing gasoline JDM Surfs/Cruisers, but in reality, some people aren't just buying them for the diesel, some of them want the straight body. In general, they have very little rust compared to our 20 year old 4Runners. Also, diesel's can be hard to start when the weather gets really cold. That said, I miss my diesel yotas..

Well I guess the difference is it's a Diesel Engine and the USA 4 Runners like my 1994 Runner is Gas ! Only Difference to my knowledge. My 94 has 3.0 V-6 & I don't anticipate any problems with it. My third 3.0 no problems !

Nope, stick with your ssr-x orig seat, they last longer than recaros.
