I've been shooting Hachioji Festival 2023 for the first time in 4 years.
This festival was held for three days from August 4th to 6th, 2023.
Each event was held on the 1.8 km road along National Route 20, about a 5-minute walk from the north exit of JR Hachioji Station in Hachioji, Tokyo.
In this video, we will deliver the performance of Japanese drums, folk dancing, floats, and mikoshi togyo.
The highlight is the float festival, which has been held for 300 years since the Edo period.

It is such a great dynamic, coordination, and energy they have participating and performing on the streets and some are bare feet. I love seeing how dedicated the nation in sustaining the culture and community there, so much variety too. I also admire how great you filmed this as well as r quality footage.
