If you have learnt Chinese, you will soon find that there are lots of similarities between Japanese grammar and Chinese grammar.(By the way, I'm a Chinese person. It's not hard for me to read Japanese 'cause I can know what a word means even if I don't know how to read the Kanji and don't know what the word actually means.) This is very useful, thank you so much. I've been learning Japanese in a 1-on-1 environment and we cover a lot of language, but it is always formal and follows a question/answer format meaning a lot of this language isnt included. Furthermore, textbooks don't teach this type of vocabulary because, once again, they stick to more formal conversational structures. However, I'm now in Japan for a month trying to improve my language skills in anticipation of moving here permanently in the next year or so and it's been very helpful to get additional instruction on this type of casual speech. だから本当にありがとうございます!

Funny how most of the phrases in japanese i kind of knew most of it it prolly because i used to watch too much anime (more than thousands of anime in mal last time i checked) and played quite a lot of visual novel back then. Recently i have been learning to read common japanese phrases with kanji and this actually helps me a lot in identifying the kanji used in common informal conversation. My initial goal is to actually being able to read japanese visual novel that does not have english localisation, might take a few years but starting with something is better than nothing at all. Hopefully my determination does not died out early xD

I made a quizlet with all the phrases and the hiragana for them. Just search the title of the video :) I love this format and have been watching this video twice a day and using my quizlet until I feel completely confident I know these. Thank you Tanaka san!

Can u please tell me what is mean by "san" in japanese ?
@amon8579 Жыл бұрын
@@gaganbajwa4331 It’s formal! Usually when people speak formal, they add ‘san’ after their names.
@Miimiiplayzbrawlstars Жыл бұрын
@@gaganbajwa4331 It’s a suffix used for,mally for figures older than/in higher power to you, or people you aren’t familiar with! it’s written as ーさん, and goes after a name. For example, you could say.. おはようございますガガンーさん! (Good morning, Gagan-san!)

Don't learn these. These are not formal. These are informal. Don't use the language in this video with boss, teachers or someone elderly in japan lol. This is made by some weeb who took words from anime.
