What does "better" mean? Do they have some kind of books with secret knowledge that other universities dont have?
@mkawa65073 жыл бұрын
In fact top Universities get so many money from Japan government and then can spend a lot of money researching something new compared to other universities.
@mkawa65073 жыл бұрын
@@limwowo5902 Generally public university can use larger facilities or new experimental tools to research new technology. That’s why everyone try to go to public university if they study technology or medical science. I don’t know about Humanities.
@mkawa65073 жыл бұрын
@@limwowo5902 In this these fields, i feel it depends on the university not whether private or not .however I don’t major in these fields, so it is best to get information from websites of each universities or ask for teachers directly.

My daughter (26) earned her Master’s from St. Andrews in Scotland in Literature- she is considering teaching ESL in Korea or Japan (she has taught college English lit for 2 years)- would any Japanese universities hire an assistant professor from America? Where could she find openings? Thank you!

So is it hard for foreigners to get into your top universities if they are fluent in Japanese? Is it equal opportunity based on test scores? Is it more expensive for foreigners to attend those top universities than it is for Japanese? Can westerner from top university become CEO in Japan?

Can you please tell me the difference between 国立大学 & 公立大学?
@wutian92003 жыл бұрын
both 国立大学and公立大学belong to public school,however 国立大学seem to be more prestigious becasue they are built and supported by the central goverment. 公立大学might be built and supported by local goverment or organization, so they are usually smaller in scale. You can think 国立大学 is one type of 公立大学 which is supported directly by central goverment.

Hey Santi, I have a question. So I'm 163-165cm at 13 years old (I don't think I'll grow taller because my mom is 158cm and my dad 170-175 so i think i've already reached my female max height) So i want move to japan next years, but i'm afraid of being too tall for japanese. Is 163-165cm too tall?
