4:04 Prawn is called 'Chingudi' (चिंगुडि / ଚିଙ୍ଗୁଡି ) in Odia. Mutton curry is called as 'Mansa Jhol' (मांस झोल / ମାଂସ ଝୋଳ ). Mansa/मांस stands for Meat/Mutton, Jhol/झोल /ଝୋଳ stands for Curry 5:04 That dish is called 'Mandaa Pithaa' (मंडा पिठा / ମଣ୍ଡା ପିଠା ) in Odia. This is a traditional odia dish. This is a dumpling kind of thing which is usually filled with sweetened coconut filling.

That white food item that confused you whether it's salty or Sweet that's called as "Manda" in local language, one type of festival sweet it's outer part i.e (white portion) is made up of Hard wheat semolina (Suji in Hindi) and filling with coconut & jaggery with dry fruits . My dad was posted in Orissa in 1997. I was still in grade 5th but I remember living there. Orissa is a very beautiful and green state. They co-exist with animals beautifully and have preserved their culture and heritage better than most states. Apart from 1-2 bad experiences there, the overall atmosphere is very wonderful. I remember going to the caves, beaches and temples with my family. It must have changed a lot since then. I wish to visit Orissa again sometime in future.

The hotel staff told chana chingudi in odia which means fried shrimp. 2nd was Mansa(meat) jhola(curry). 5.12 sec the item you had was manda Pitha(traditional food of Odisha ,it has many variant) which u tasted has stuffing of coconut nad jagerry and made like momos with little change ..

Toganji Temple's grounds, a Soto Zen sect temple of Japanese Buddhism, contain a Shiva-Lingam and a shrine dedicated to the Goddess Saraswati, who is honored in a Benzaiten Festival every May 7-8 (copied from net). This part of the the culture is a part of all Japanese people which is forgotten. The staff said 'Machher Jhol' which is a typical East-Indian (Orissa, Bengal, Assam) term for fish curry.
