🎄 2024 Aachen Wonderful Christmas Markets Tour, Germany Christmas Lights Walk in 4K HDR

In this video, you'll experience a slow walk through the Christmas markets of Aachen in Germany. Filmed on a relatively mild evening at the end of November 2024, the tour takes you through the heart of the city's festive celebrations, showcasing the main markets in the city center, including the iconic Aachen Cathedral and Town Hall / Rathaus.
For about four weeks leading up to Christmas, the squares and streets surrounding these landmarks are transformed into a magical Christmas village, filled with sparkling lights and the warm aromas of mulled wine and Aachener Printen, a local gingerbread specialty. It's no surprise that Aachen's Christmas market has consistently ranked among the top ten Christmas markets in Europe in recent years.
Our walk begins near the cathedral and proceeds to the town hall, before returning to the starting point. Along the way, you'll enjoy beautifully decorated stalls, festive lights, handcrafted goods, and delicious German treats. The history of Aachen’s Christmas market, also known as the Printenmarkt, dates back to the 1970s. Originally held around the Elisen Fountain, it started as a small event but has since grown into the beloved holiday attraction it is today.
