It is obvious that Jared loves her so much. He always has her back. Always tries to protect her and be there for her even though he said he didn't care anymore. I honestly feel like he is living up to his words, that he will always stay with her no matter what they'll face. He never failed her - or thats what i think. Except for that time he married Lou. But, who would have thought the plane and all the passangers would come back after 5 years right?? I'm definitely rooting for Jared and Mich and it's really sad to see them not being together.

Same, the show really over-exemplifies his overprotective/obsessive persona. If I saw a girl who chose someone she knew for a few months (no matter how strong the connection) over someone she has known for basically her whole life, I'd think she's stupid. The reason why Zeke seems to act more caring and kind towards Michaela is because like all "fresh" relationships, you tend to be more nice to one another than if you had lived for a very long time with each other. it doesn't change the love in the relationship

Mick let some dogs free and he asked if she did cause of him (as if Ben would be involved on it if it was) he could have considered that her life was a mess, first. She quits the force and he cames to yell at her at her house late at night when her husband is with her. This is rude and so wrong. She can make the decisions she wants and even Zeke wouldn't be right if he yelled at her like that and he is her husband. If she didn't text him back is cause she is bussy or she doesn't want to talk. Please try again in an acceptable time. She makes a wrong call in an opperation and he took the blame (awesome of him) but he used this to say he almost destroyed his carrier for her (reminding that he tricked his way to be in the opperation with her, he was not her partner at the time) and used this to demand her to tell him about the callings when even she knew much about it. He decided to go on an operation and sunddely is because of her not cause he is a cop and he was doing his job, just to use the "I almost died for you" card for them to be together. She kept telling him to back off, that they are not soulmates, kept her distance then tried to be friends with both of them (Lourdes and Jared who kissed in front of her, why?) sacrificed her happiness so her friend wouldn't fell bad. He didn't had the balls to tell Lourdes that he didn't want to be with her anymore, and when Michaela confirmed Lourdes suspicious about themened (had to do it and Lourdes got way he put the blame on Mick and wanted to He goes to her apartment and told her everything a woman wants to hear to who just a few days ago (for her) was her girlfriend/fiancé. Of course she let herself fall for it and she did wrong, but she was the least blamed on this, (even Lourdes had more to blame since she acted dumb and pretended that the fact that her husband's ex was back wouldn't affect her wedding at all. The ex that is also her bestfriend, so she really didn't know that Michaela loved him truly and the reason she would say no for the wedding was cause she thought she didn't deserve to be happy? She tells him she can't talk about them and instend of give her space he ask her to have breakfast together. She decides to trust someone and sunddely she can't judge by herself. He asked his friends to follow Zeke, ran his finger prints without permission even after she asked him to stop. He invaded her appartament with a loaded gun himself for what he thought would be a drugs seach, why? Zeke didn't do anything to stop him then Jared started saying how Michaela and him where meant to be togheter when at the moment Zeke was just a friend. They started to fight and Zeke pointed the gun to him just so Jared would stop and listen to him. He said he bought the gun to protect Mick and wasn't even pointing the gun to Jared anymore when Jared attacked him. Michaela and Zeke, both had calling about this (I still don't know why the calling was making him like Griffin as the "stop him" and the wolf were callings to warn about Griffin), He knew it was an accident, he told Ben that much, but after Saanvi told him that Mick didn't want to see him he never said that word again and wanted Michaela to let a innocent man be behind bars cause of jealous and called her off after she admitted she asked to Zeke to run like it was something about him. He said that he wanted to get along with Zeke cause he needed Mick in his life even if they would be just friends. And after everything he said. "He was suppost to die. That was the only reason I stood there and watch he marry the love of my life" Saying that to her was rude to say the least. Well he could be talking about actually phisicaly standing and watching except he didn't. He didn't watch anything. So if he was talking about doing nothing to try to change her mind... well he tried multiple times, he wouldn't be able to take a no for an answer. It's lovely when a person doesn't give up to try to prove to someone that you can choose him, but when this someone is married and already told you to stop it doesn't matter their past together is actually called something else. He doesn't get her and the callings.Olive doesn' have them and get it. I will stop now but I could keep going.

I completely agree with you. I don't see it as obsessive. There are two incredibly overlooked moments in the show. After Glen died, when Jared got his text from Mick, he brought Zeke to the house with him. That shows he cares more about what Mick needs. Also, he literally went undercover in season 2 to protect her, and saved Zeke's life. I agree, their chemistry has way more passion. Also, in that moment he made the decision to sacrifice his own relationship to protect Mick. He realized what Saanvi killing the major would mean for Mick, and decided to protect it. Even if it means ending it with Sarah.

Jared cheated on his wife and wanted to continue the ‘affair’ with Mick as they were supposed to be together before the plane disappeared. Mick was at least sorry and unselfish enough to distance herself from Jared for her bestfriend as he is a married man. Sure, he was the first to return after the 828 and while at the time had the normal shock value in every tv series, you’d start to wonder what his purpose during S2, and S3, aside from being Mick’s husband. He’s like a nail that just sticks out and will either be removed or fully hammered once the writers’ decides to. Feeling like his entire existence is to be a hurdle to Jared and Mick’s relationship tbh. As if the writers wrote him while thinking this “let’s not have Jared and Mick in a happy ending yet, we’re not even half way through the supposed series run yet! let’s put this guy in but we’ll remove him once we get close to the series finale”

I just heard Netflix is picking up Manifest for a 20 episode season 4. when it does come back, I hope mick stays with Zeke. She may have married him because he was dying but she loves him and they have a happy and healthy relationship. Zeke is there for mick in good times and bad, he respects and loves her. Jared is obsessed with Mick and they would have a toxic relationship together. Jared has already shown that he's obsessive and controlling and he doesn't respect what she wants and needs, he only cares about what he wants when he wants it, he doesn't give her space when he asks for it, he always oversteps and Jared is constantly disregarding Mick's feelings and beliefs for his own. this video is more proof of that. Mick shouldn't walk away from the man she loves (her husband) to live in the past with her ex-boyfriend, who constantly disregards her feeling and belief, and shows toxic behavior towards her in almost every episode they are in together.

In my opinion jared got jealous when he found out Zeke was living with mick. So he got overbearing and overprotective and went and followed Zeke when mick told him to leave him alone. And mick ended up getting shot and jared still wouldn’t leave the situation alone. So mick got distant and became closer with Zeke and ended up marrying him cause they thought he was dying. And when they realized he wasn’t going to die jared got with Sarah. And when mick quit her job jared realized she was hiding something from him. He kept asking questions mick told him to leave the situation alone he didn’t and ended up finding out something he didn’t want to know and ruined his own relationship. And confessed his fellelings to mick again.

Nope sorry all you team Jared's. I didn't like him from day one. Know when I saw Zeke I knew they were going to get together. I love these two. Their love is very passionate. Jared is too control and the biggest flaw to me is that he don't know how to listen. A lot of the situations they get in is because he don't listen. Now going back to when he did and helped out that was the Jared I liked. Everything worked out then he got too obsessive and couldn't out his pride aside and admit to some of the things he'd done wrong. Zeke might be a mess, at times. But at least he owns up to his mistakes and knows how to out his pride aside

You should see her breakdown when they interviewed her. She said Jared and Mick were messy and Mick and Zeke has same path and understands Mick. Before the plane disappear they would have been together. However things are different now and he has to move on. He doesn’t care about the callings that is selfish because that is how she survives. He is a lying ass he didn’t even stay at the wedding he left. I don’t like the way he talks to her and no one is forcing him to be with the major daughter. Something is not right about the major daughter that is why I need endings to this story.

I understand Jared feels being protective of Mick. But it gets to a point where he is more than that, he is just so obsessive. He doesn’t even give her space or even at times the respect she deserves. He just wants the things his own way because of how he feels. He acts in an impulsive way and doesn’t know a limit. For example, when he showed up at her apartment to kick Zeke out. He didn’t have any right to do that, but again, he is so obsessed with Mick. I would not like someone have that kind of behavior pattern on me.

Tired of these two , so dry, always living in the past. Michaela's life before the plane was going downhill CLEARLY. Her family was practially begging her to marry Jared, she kept putting it off, saying she wasn't sure. Even when they got on the plane Ben said just marry Jared. Why the hesitancy even then?? There was no zeke marriage or callings She is truly unsure of herself, Zeke sees that and believes he is loved by michaela and thats enough for him. He accepts all the love she is able to give. They work as a team. Always walking beside eachother to the next calling. He trusts her judgements she clearly feels heard by him, which is why zeke is always the first to know and jared is the last to know. Jared on the other hand, well this should have been my wedding, honeymoon , dog , cat, yard, fork , spoon. Both he and michaela keep jumping over hoops for one another, but not TOGETHER. there is a Huge difference. They've always been that way, trapped 5 years back. The callings brought michaela not 5 years into the past but 5 years into the future. Jared is her past, he desperatley tries to hold onto the micheala he fell for pre plane. But she's gone now, and michaela needs to be more vocal and not always feel guilty that she somehow ruined his life by returning because she hasn't. The callings are michaela's second chance for a new life, she'd be a fool not to take it.

This has made me lose respect for Jared. During that episode he said he was happy for zeke and mick and when he arrived at the wedding “anything for mick”. Now he comes up to her and says straight to her face that her husband is supposed to be dead and that’s why he went to the wedding. While she was marrying a man who was dying whom she was clearly in love with he was waiting for him to die so he could get back together with her. Can we take a moment to sink in how much of a sick human being this makes Jared? First he has a one night stand withe her while he is married, then tries to pursue her the same night his wife moved out, and now is pursuing her while she is married.

Jared: 1. Jared took the blame for Micks wrong call. 2. He almost died for her. 3. Jared joined the Xers to protect Mick even though he knew she would probably hate him for it. 5. He put his pride aside to be her friend. 6. He put his pride aside to be there at her wedding. (Even though he didn’t stay which is understandable.) 7. Mick is admittedly protective of him as well. 8. Mick got jealous of Jared’s relationship with Sarah. 9. Mick got jealous when he kissed the Xers sister. 10. He is willing to give up his relationship with Sarah in order to continue to protect Mick. 11. Jared was with Mick to help her when she lost her best friend. 12. Even her best friends mom knows that she belongs to Jared. Lol 13. Mick’s and Jared’s relationship is more realistic. It’s not all peachy. They argue like a married couple but have a genuine friendship and loyalty to each other. 14. Mick’s dad ships them. Lol the list goes in. Let’s be clear I don’t think that Jared is perfect. He can be overprotective, overbearing, and a bit invasive at times. But one thing with Jared is that he is loyal as heck and we know that he will always have Mick’s back no matter what. He sacrificed his life to save Cal's, put his hands literally on fire helping Michaela to save Bethany and was willing to screw his recovery just so Mick disn't have to do drugs. I don't hate on Jared. I can see he is a good guy but make poorly decisions sometimes. I don't understand people saying Zeke and Mick got together too fast or that she got blinded by the callings or even that she married out of pity. She wanted to call the wedding off cause he was dying and they didn't find a cure, so not for pity. Soulmates don't need time to connect with each other they just do. The calling simply brought them to meet and wanted them to be together since the are meant to be. :D
