This team just isn't the same,& not a true contender without Nichuskin. Really feels like we are screwed. Be miracle if we even score on Hellunbuck. And I still keep wondering when Sean Payton recently said if a team keeps being among the most injured in their sport-the organization is doing something wrong.He was talking about the Broncos before he got here. But sure feels he could've been talking about the AVS who've basically been the most injured contender in the whole 2020s basically. I'm no Dr but maybe the AVS need to have a word with the Broncos training staff at this point.

Starting to get the feeling we may have seen the only cup run that ends in a title with this roster. It sucks cuz the top guys are more than capable but we can't keep a healthy lineup or a supporting cast (or effective depth) to save our lives. It's not even remotely a one off anymore. It's a pattern now. It's not the end of the world some teams never even get a shot at one title. Keep in mind that Sakic and Forsberg 'only' won 2 and they were 5 seasons apart (with Patrick Roy in net for both). Winning titles is rare and extremely difficult.

And then people point out that the Blackhawks won 3 in like 6 years, the Kings won 2 in 3 years, Tampa won 2 in 3 years, and Penguins won back to back cups.

@@soulknife20 I think the Avs could have and I’m not even saying it’s over. But it’s possible they are one and done. Rotten luck. Injuries. Suspensions. I can go on. Sometimes you catch that lightning more than once, sometimes yer just snakebit.

We just won't beat Helly without Nichuskin, he is a big reason we beat them in the forst round last year, was leading the playoffs in goals until he fell of the wagon again.

honestly lets just trade nichushkin so landy can come back regular season. i love him but i am so so tired of this.

Landeskog is finished. He will never be able to compete at the nhl level again, time to find a replacement for him and hand cale the "C"

@davidc0605 if that is your opinion they still need to trade nichushkin and go find a big netfront guy who isnt out for 25% of games. This team is missing that kind of guy

@zachgamingzone what the team is missing is depth. Our 1st line is constantly playing from the defensive zone.

@ the teams depth is just about guys who are injured and nichushkin is a big part of that
