Wyatt, the lions defense is not leaky. They’ve played 3 great games of holding teams to under 20+ points . This was the only bad game they’ve played.

It wasn't a bad defensive performance we were injured and gassed our offense was almost too good and that caused us to let up more points

The seahawks were missing our entire d line and most of our LBs and the lions only played without there center and branch we were way hurt

Stating facts is not crying. We were severely injured on defense, the thing that let us down the most. I’m not saying we would’ve won if we had boye mafe, Leonard Williams, Uchenna Nwosu, Jerome baker, and byron Murphy in that game, but it would’ve of been a lot closer and we wouldn’t have allowed 42 points. That’s 4 (4 not 5 since we haven’t had Nwosu all season) starters and key players on seattles defense we didn’t have this week. It’s a casual take to say that we and Detroit had equal injury problems. Besides that I think our main problem was stopping yards after catch, it got very annoying after just a quarter and a half.

Goff threw 2 passes over 5 yards last night. Yes, 18 for 18 is very impressive but he got bailed out by a couple penalties that erased some incompletes. Plus, no one is talking about the safety Goff costsed the Lions! Goff did great but he is getting WAY over hyped.

Why is everyone in the world always tryna excuse seattles injuries. Seeing multiple people including this dude claiming that the lions were also “banged” up when I myself a big lions fan. Know that these people you see in the injure report are backups besides the safety and center. While seattle had 6 on defense alone people acting like they shouldnt use that like that didnt have a affect of the results is just insane. They literally had no strength in the d line because these people half being pro bowlers (btw im a seattle fan as well)just trying to look at things objectively 🤣. And its crazy because when the niners were injured this the same dude who said in a video that he still thinks when they are healthy they are the best team in the league. Now I think Goff is a dawg buts let’s be honest. He really didn’t play as great as his stats show. Almost all of his yards came from yac in that game and a lot of his passes were check downs. I think it was abundantly clear geno played better that game but in the end just couldn’t get it done in some moments like the 4th and goal late in the game. Overall great game really enjoyed it.

His stats are slightly inflated sure, but he stilled played perfect. You can’t get those YAC yards if you don’t throw the ball in the right spot

He threw for 5+ yards in a third of his throws, not including the ones where he threw 3-5+ yards behind the LOS due to pressure. If a WR is open, they’re open. You also have to factor in pressure. He at least didn’t under throw like Daniel Jones are overthrow like T-Law

@@ItSaBeastNerd Check downs don't always mean behind the LOS mate. He threw multiple throws to Montgomery 5 yards in front of him. Or a slant route. Your right, if a wr is open there open but what it does is make the qb's job much easier. That game he played like a more effiecent 2021 jimmy G. Relying on YAC and short passes in the game. Not a seattle fan but from just the eye test Geno out played goff in that game.

But it was still a good game and all props in the world to geno, spartan kw3, and dk. Those dudes absolutely balled out. Yea you can’t really out coach when you don’t have players to rotate on your d-line. You can only call so many plays until you’re d-line is tired as shit, they had to keep the same guys in for a lot of plays, it’s a different game if they had starters who could blow up gaps, let alone get to the quarterback.
