He had a dropped pass last season in the first Tampa game. More of a bad throw from Goff but he ran with some speed, and then stopped on a dime. The defender kept going another like 5 yards before he stopped. If he had caught that ball, he would have been gone. His change of pace is unreal

Media was quick to talk down on him again and yet when you look at this the coach tells him to basically take it easy and use no flash no risk plays. Then when they're down he says: 'put it on me, I got this.' My QB right there!!! Goffmeister ftw.

It was smart of MCDC to remind JG right before the start of the game not to try to over do it, especially knowing how important the game meant to Goff. Goff played within himself most of the game, and took very few risks. The one INT he had was not Goff's fault - it was a tight window and St Brown and the defender both ran into each other when the ball was delivered. St Brown almost always wins those contested catches, but the ball took an odd bounce and somehow landed just above the defenders one hand on the ground. It was a hair away from being an incompletion. Nonetheless, the Lions got ball back and then Goff showed his accuracy to get the tie in regulation. The rest of the game was all D-Mo and the O line. Great win....

The foundation was paid for by Stafford 12 years of blood sweat and tears on Detroit’s field and the value he brought us in his trade. Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes was everything Detroit needed. Have piece and move that has been made, every player selected, has been a destiny predetermined by God. It’s beautiful to watch.

Forget about a year ago, do you remember the first game when Goff played Stafford and MCDC went against McVay? He pulled out all the trick plays and a fake punt and whatever we could just to try to be in the game. This game was unlike anything I've ever seen from an opening game from the Lions in my 29 plus years as a fan. This is an incredible journey to be on right now
