@@danielwhyatt3278 Here's what Eric Berger, a prominent space journalist that often cited as a source by NSF themselves and wrote 2 books about SpaceX, wrote this: All of this is fairly familiar territory for spaceflight enthusiasts-and observers of Musk. *But during the last eight years he has become an increasingly controversial and polarizing figure.* Based on his behavior, many people will dismiss Musk's Mars comments as those of *a megalomaniac.* SpaceX Elon Musk is a great overachiever. so disingenuous just calling isaacman a billionaire. just call him an entrepreneur or founder of shift4. calling people billionaires causes people to automatically resent them or assume that they will pay for anything to do whatever they want. isaacman is not only the founder of shift4 but also is a licensed pilot. he truly is an inspiration.

"walk" in space isn't really appropriate. It's more like " falling" through space since that's a more accurate description of what's really happening.The accurate description of space "flight"is really "falliñg around the sun". We merely use terms that are more relatable to us. It's hard to imagine falling through space at roughly 18,000 mph and still being able to maneuver around! Everything about space travel is foreign to us terrestrial beings.
@El-Jefe
@El-Jefe 4 ай бұрын
They are orbiting the Earth not the Sun so your statement that they are really " falling around the sun" is inaccurate. When an astronaut is in orbit around the Earth, he/she is essentially in free fall towards the Earth but has enough tangential velocity to keep missing it. This creates a continuous state of free fall around the planet, which is what we call an orbit. So, it is correct to say that in Earth orbit, they are "falling around the Earth."

Nope, they are posting this proves their theory. Spacex had to create a hoax, made in a film set on earth using CGI... I kid you not! There's no hope for humanity 😮

A spacewalk is going out into space, which he did. If we want to be specific no one has done a spacewalk, because they just move themselves around with their arms

Hate to rain on the parade but I wouldn't call that a spacewalk. Dude literally peeped his head out for a whole 5 seconds. Secondly why is it always the billionaires that get to do shit like this? HEY ELON why don't you send some of us lower class Americans up I mean it's only fair, we get to bust our ass and stay broke so you can stay rich.

Well because he paid for it, typically it’s only billionaires who can afford to pay out 55 million for a mission and the other 3 people in the mission where not billionaires, 2 where SpaceX staff one of them started as an intern.

It will be something if someone got detached and floated away like movies just to see what happens and how they get rescued

They wouldn't be rescued unless they were drifting VERY slowly. Like slowly enough to be like Crap! and grab the rail. Otherwise there isn't S one could do.

Space walk doesn’t mean they have to float and walk in space, it means walking in the vacuum of space. Getting off their chair and going up the ladder with the door open is a space walk.

Roflmfao, how is standing in the doorway and not leaving the craft a spacewalk?
@RandomUser311
@RandomUser311 4 ай бұрын
Not literally yes, but the focus of the EVA was to test the mobility of the new suits. This was an important step towards future spacewalks with a bit more walking involved.
