This is how every drum playthrough/cover should be filmed. No cuts, one camera angle, and constant foot cam. I could watch this shit all day.

As a drummer I want to see the foot work especially at these speeds haha. So yeah man i agree

PREACH. I like artistic camera angles and visual FX but a performance should be filmed with the focus on technique, and a consistent and unedited camera angle is required

I appreciate this video (and wouldn't mind more of them), but what the fuck is this doing in the ALBUM playlist for Where Owls Know My Name? Is this just another instance of KZbin's dumbass bullshit, or what?

This is a very good lesson in double bass technique, foot placement, flat-foot, ankle motion and doubles. Technically very interesting to see a lot of different techniques used in one song.

Thank you for not editing the drums in post. I hate watching these videos where i KNOW the person played it without mistakes but there's no way they played it THAT perfectly. This is perfectly imperfect. No mistakes, just humanity.

Got a chance to chat with Jared just before their show in Paris at the beginning of the month. Super friendly and chill and brother was I blown away by his performance. Sand Baptism just blew my mind away, so much precision and this guy performs clean vocals on some songs... Please leave some talent for the rest of us

Amazing play-through. Saw you supporting Revocation in London and was blown away by your drumming and your heel-toe at, you're doing, about 250bpm... Really flawless execution and good drum parts and over really good. See you when you're headlining. Thanks.

I don't know the drumming terms, but when he does the faster parts with his feet, that sounds more like 700-800BPM to me.
@_APV_
@_APV_ 4 жыл бұрын
@@___meph___4547 Oh, I was probably thinking about the kicks then. How is BPM of a song is defined? I thought you just take the most frequent repetitive element, which in this case was the "pedal drum"(or however it's called).
@JaspervanMinnen
@JaspervanMinnen 4 жыл бұрын
@@_APV_ the click (bpm beats per minute) are almost always a quarternote of a whole. Hes playing 16notes which is 4 notes per click and 16 per whole count. If you count with the click yoy can count to 4 pretty quick the whole time. Hope this makes sense

Tomas Haake, Alex Rudinger, Spencer Prewett, I could go on and on. Sleep Token's drummer still has some insane talent, but with how many insane drummers there are nowadays it's practically impossible to call someone one of the best without a random youtube viewer pulling up a list of 30 other people who are way more technically skilled
