@BroughtCat3 жыл бұрын
To say that film is a hidden gem is an understatement in every sense of the word. That movie is a masterpiece, profoundly deep and complex, something that'll never be fully understood. It's Leto's magnum opus, it's simply art.
@MikeMJPMUNCH3 жыл бұрын
I think he covered that one in his GQ breaking down of his most iconic characters
@BroughtCat3 жыл бұрын
@@MikeMJPMUNCH Yeah you're right, but I wished he talked about it here more because I feel like Mr. Nobody exists in this weird space of being one of Leto's more neglected movies of his filmography (everyone always goes to requiem for a dream and Dallas buyers club). However on the flip side more film connoisseurs are aware of the film especially online. There's entire video and written essays dedicated to the film as there should be, it's a masterful piece in filmmaking, showing peak human creativity.

If you are surprised that he is a good actor, then it is clear you’ve only seen in him as the Joker. Which to me, it wasn’t even bad. I believe it was more related with the aesthetics of the film and comparing it to the Nolan films that drew the criticism. But if you see his much earlier roles, Requiem for a Dream, Mr. Nobody, Dallas Buyers Club you’d know the man is committed and talented.

I think it is more of scenarists fault as well as Costume and makeup design was weird too.
