This is probably the best thing that ever come out of reality dating tv show. This truly makes me believe in love again. I remembered so vividly of them when they first met on paradise and I knew they are meant to be together and was so confused and sad that back then that Jared couldn't see it. I wish them the best.

Idk why the comments here got people not vibing with Ashley and Jared. Real life and relationships ARE messy. No love stories are smooth and amazing even though their feelings for each other always have been. Jared always loved her as his best friend you know. People get all up in their heads and ruin relationships all the time and about Ashley when you meet someone you're just that sure of you're going to be really heartbroken to see it not working out at times like in those flashbacks. I think Kevin really didn’t blame Ashley for the proposal his said it hurts like when Jared proposed right in front of him like he could’ve chose another place to propose. In the moment that Jared proposed to Ashley, Kevin was not into Astrid, so at the time he hasn’t moved on and she has. He said that Astrid got with Jared the day after they broke up which I would consider cheating. I mean I would be hurt af if I still loved my ex but she/he moved on. Like he loved her so much even tho they broke up but now he found Astrid so I’m happy for him and for Ashley and Jared

ashley m watches this really small slice of Ashley and Jared's relationship, a slice that was made up of a few hours of selectively edited footage from a reality tv show meant to maximize drama, and then she thinks she has an actual understanding of a real, complex, deep relationship between two people she's never met that in real life actually unfolded over a period of several years. Wow. The delusion of some reality television viewers is truly unbelievable. Sure, ashley m. Let's not trust the couple themselves or their friends and family who have all spoken about how Jared was in love with Ashley for years, but was terrified of losing her as his best friend if they tried to become more and it didn't work out so he pushed her away. And it wasn't until he saw her start to move on with Kevin that he realized he was going to lose her either way and he couldn't handle that so he finally admitted that she wasn't crazy and he really was in love with her. Yeah. I'm sure all that was a lie made up by Ashley, Jared, and all the people who actually know them. Really, we should be trusting the assessment of ashley m because she watched these two people on a few episodes of Bachelor in Paradise over two years ago. She's definitely the expert here. 🙄

Actually Jared begged the producers to not have Kevin there. He wanted ro propose on this beach for sentimental reasons. Producers refused to have Kevin not be there. It's in a radio interview from shortly after the engagement
