Natasya He doesn't say something he does not believe or he won't be honest about... So he leaves blanks. I.e: "When the first woman told me I was the only fat person she'd ever wanted to fuck, I said... (blank). I almost married her." You can get the meaning from the last lines "The thing about the truth is that it is almost never one thing.". My truth is different than yours because we all have different perspectives on the same thing. The truth is not absolute, there are to faces in every coin. So he prefers Silence. He is honest about everything because he is silent.
