When Eren was talking to Ramzi and talking about, "The outside world was different than what I read about in Armin's books", Eren is referencing the fact that he envisioned the world as "fields of firey water, lands of ice" etc. He believed that the world that was vast, free, and full of beauty. However, he was left "disappointed" because the world was not what he believed it to be. The world Eren knows (through Grisha's memories, and his own lived experience) is incredibly harsh, cruel, and filled with hate.

35:00 -- Not only that. In both cases Eren used the phrase "ippiki nokorazu", which can be translated as "not leaving a single one". Note that "ippiki" in the meaning "single" in Japanese is normally used for _small animals,_ therefore its usage is definitively inappropriate for humans _(for humans, it should be "hitori nokorazu" instead of "ippiki nokorazu"),_ and its usage for titans is also questionable. This is an additional insight into how Eren's mind works when he thinks about the titans/humans to be destroyed.

So in some sense they're still alive in the paths, like ymir is still alive. This also means that the fallen scouts/soldiers have been looking over them

Reiner has been in near death situations like a million times but it was probably Eren using the Founding Titan to make sure he lived to this point. (Almost ate by "Ymir" when Marcel sacrificed himself to save him, in Shigansina if even a single rogue soldier had the courage to pursue Reiner after he broke the wall Reiner would eventually have to come out of his Titan and with no way to defend himself he would've been killed, in Trost where it seemed like all hope was lost and titans were slaughtering everyone, when he was "crushed" by Annie even if she wasn't trying to kill him, in Fort Utgard when "Ymir" found out he was a Marleyan she could've revealed him as an enemy, when he protected Conny almost revealing his Titan powers in the process, when he revealed his identity and Mikasa tried to slit his throat but he protected himself with his arm, when Eren put him in a hold and almost snapped his neck open, when Bertholdt fell on top of him and Eren he could've been knocked out or killed, if "Ymir" sided with the Scouts her Jaw could've broken Reiner's armor leading to his death, when Eren used to Founder to charge the titans towards Reiner they could've pinned him down until he was out of energy and ate him, in Shigansina where he disobeyed Zeke and they had a fight Zeke could've killed him by throwing stuff at his nape, which he later threatened to do if he disobeyed again, where Levi stabbed him through the neck and the chest, right after the stabbing where he fell to the ground he could've died from the impact, he could've died when the Scouts blew up his nape/head, he could've died when Bertholdt transformed if he didn't manage to lie on his back and shield himself from the blast, he could've died when Mikasa blew him out of his nape with a thunder spear, he could've died if Jean didn't stop Hange from sticking her blade in his neck, he could've died if Pieck didn't save him right after Mikasa gave the signal to kill him, he could've died at Fort Slava when the train was shooting him but Porco saved him, he could've died when he protected Zeke from the Naval Artillery, in Liberio he was about to off himself but Falco unknowingly interrupted him just before he pulled the trigger, he could've died if Falco and Gabi didn't give him the will to live, he could've died if Eren hadn't exhausted all his energy fighting the Warhammer, he could've died when Eren stabbed him with the Warhammer's spikes, he could've died when Zeke was covering Eren by throwing chunks of the wall, he could've died if he shed his armor and let Falco eat him, at the campfire he would've let Jean beat him to death, at the Island's port he could've been blown up by thunder spears especially after Annie got knocked out, at Odiha Port he offered to sacrifice himself for the group). Reiner is the greatest Armored Titan of all time.

It's been a while since I've gotten to comment on Hange so I'll indulge. For me Hange is the most relatable character in AoT. She's a dork who doesn't have it all figured out but the one thing you know about her is that she will act. Act in the vein of decency, kindness, and curiosity. Always seeking to understand, but never to destroy just to know more about the wonderful world in front of her. It's not the perfect characters that are the most captivating. It's the characters who do not let the world dictate their actions, but are unyielding to it's demands by virtue of their own morality. Hange is no question a captivating character and my favorite in this story of so many amazing characters.

In the episode 1x01 of the anime the scene of Eren's dream takes place immediately after the opening credits, but there in 1x01 this part shown here _("see you later, Eren")_ was substituted with those chaotic images of destruction in Eren's dream.

His conversation with Ramzi in the opening is one of my fav scenes of this anime. It s the first time eren let his feelings out and says what it s on his mind because ramzi couldn t understand anything. It s the second time ( first time he did to reiner but in a very subtile way, if anyone wants i ll explain) when eren tells someone the truth that he didn t start the rumbling mainly for paradise, but for himself, because that s how he would have achieved freedom in his mind. Also as he said, he was dissapointed when he found out what he tried to escape from all this time was behind the walls too. Humans. He wanted to wipe them out imediately. He couldn t accept that his image of the outside world created by armin s book is wrong, so he made it real. He knew it s wrong and was feeling very guilty about it ( the crying and repeatedly,, i m sorry) but his desire for achieving his dream was bigger than his guilty feelings. Man I love eren, such an incredible written character

He is really like Reiner, they use the most righteous reason of all as an excuse to fulfill their personal desires, Eren's to see his version of a free world, Reiner's to make himself a hero to be accepted. along the way they encounter many sad things, many things they regret , but that doesn't stop them from keep moving forward, and the result of them doing that, is what we see.

Their discussion in declaration of war is so amazing when u actually understand it. At the end Reiner wanted to be judged, but eren couldn t judge him because he is doing literally the same thing(the way Annie, Reiner and Bluetooth couldn t judge that man in the intro) . Eren came to have the confirmation that he is the same as reiner because he knew he is the only one that would understand him and is feeling the same way

Even though I know you've seen the last episode, technically spoiler warning: Ramzi at the beginning of the episode burying treasure is basically an analogue for Eren in a way. He says 'someone has to do it' and he is burying his treasure for the rest to pass on if / when he dies. Eren is leaving behind what he can for his friends/ family. The tents and refugee camp are to Ramzi what the walls were to Eren. You could even argue there is a symbolic connection between Ramzi missing a hand and Eren losing his hand in s1 ep 5 when he gets eaten by the bearded titan. Ramzi's (brother?) is analogous to Armin, who is being entrusted with making sure the parting gift does not go to waste. I think he even has blondish hair too which strengthens the idea visually.
