What's amazing, is the Appalachian mountain range and the Scottish Highlands are the exact same range when the continents were connected during Pangea. I'm absolutely fascinated by that.

Aren’t most of the settlers of that region of Scottish-Irish descent?
@karenc8028
@karenc8028 Жыл бұрын
From my understanding, yes. My ancestors on my Papa's side were Scotch-Irish and came over really early on. They settled in areas around Byrdstown, TN and stayed in that area for hundreds of years. My Granny's ancestors were French on one side and British on the other. They also settled in TN really early. I believe that there are still Amonetts living in that area of TN.

@@karenc8028my me-maw was pure Scottish and took great offense at being called Scotch. She'd always say you drink that horsesh*t and you don't drink me! She was a few inches shy of 5 feet tall, had snow white hair that looked like a big ol' cotton ball and could reach the back bottom hairs on our necks and make us kids "act like we knew sumthin".

I’m of German, Irish and Native American descent. My great great grandmother was kidnapped from Ireland and brought back to work as a slave in a cotton plantation in the Carolinas. She eventually managed to escape and started a family of her own. She was a witch, my grandmother was a witch, and so is my biological mother. Even being adopted and raised into Christianity from a young age, I just always felt that love and pull magick and the wilds, and once I turned 18 I ran off and returned to my family roots. Sometimes it feels as if I can feel my ancestors through me, beckoning me to continue on the quest for ultimate knowledge and freedom. Magick runs in my veins and no amount of brainwashing, fear mongering, deceit, or punishment ever broke that. I am as wild as the wolves that roamed the woods of the lower 48 before their extermination. There’s something amazing about magick and the untamed parts/aspects of the world. Light and dark circling in an infinite chase. Life, death, love, hate, Fire and Water. All must be balanced if order is to continue. I hope that one day people can come to an understanding of both witches and the sacredness of the natural world, as opposed to fearing what is a bit complicated to understand. The universe is too big for any of us to assume we know everything. There are far more realms and beings than just heaven and hell, gods and demons. The reality is petrifying but breathtaking. We all need to liberate ourselves and live only in our souls purest, deepest truths. To lie to one’s self is even worse than lying to others. This is something close to my heart and will be until the day I die. -T

I absolutely love that comment!!! 1st off, it's a pleasure to meet ya and thank you for watching. That is an amazing and inspiring story and family history right there!!! From what I hear Magick is like the mountains... It'll call to a person!! It's in your blood, it's in your DNA...so follow your heart and NEVER let anybody tell you any different. I truly admire you for being who you are and not changing for anyone! Keep on rockin it. Thanks again for watching and sharing that. Have a good'n T 😎👍

North Carolina mountains; that’s my turf; or I guess I should say was: I moved to Tennessee about 4 years back from Ashe County, NC. In western NC we have a place where there is defiantly a lot of crazy stuff; even to me and I don’t believe in ghosts (I do believe demons are real though): and that place is the Pisgah National forest. Yeah, I know everyone has heard of the brown mountain lights phenomenon there, but there are much crazier things then that spoken of out in pisgah.

When i was 3 i was at my grandmas house. I was asleep on the hideabed in the LR with my dad. I awakened in the aftermidnight hours. Across the room was a white gloved hand sticking up from the floor, slowly moving its fingers, beckoning. I got up. I was so small the hideabed came to my waist. I touched the hand. It turned into a witch. She towered over me and said "i will take away all your dreams, all your hopes, all your pleasures, and your life will turn to dust in your hands." She turned, all in one piece, and went out thru the wall. She did not step, nor did she touch the floor. I woke everybody screaming. I cite the exact words she said as proof of a supernatural origin. They are not a childs words or concepts. Im 67. Never married, no kids, poor all my life. Accursed. I am saved. But all the good things of the material world are denied me.

This was a good story telling. The strange, unusual things even spooky are good for bedtime. But, Im waking up, still Im thinking this would be good for bed. Used to be a radio show that was world wide it seems geared towards truckers. "Charlie Daniels Road Gang" Which was for truckers but everyone liked it. Just to say you might have something. You might like checking out L.E.M.U.R. Paranormal with Joshua Warren, in Asheville, NC. Thats your business, but Im thinking there can be things to be gleaned. Just saying. Your old time skills show was a good show. 🙂didnt really fit your show, but it was good, real good.

Feral people. I've always been interested in historical history and archeology. I've seen items found imbedded in rock. Items entirely out of place and time. There is scant evidences about the Appalachian having people living in areas, besides the native tribes. Evidences that date back further than the attributed time line given from Indio migration, which they say 35,000 years ago, people came here from the land bridge of Alaska. They have found evidence of Viking or Nordic in Canada and in USA. These feral humans could possibly come from those early times. If course it's not a huge stretch to think wild humans could exist, folks go off grid, live for generations. I've encountered strange things too while hiking about , voices , sounds.

With all due respect a female fox in heat will scream like a woman in distress. It's to call the male foxes to her. The same for a female wildcat. However if you hear a baby crying in the night where you know there is no baby Stay Away . There's nothing good waiting there.
@JaredKingTV
@JaredKingTV Жыл бұрын
That's absolutely true about the Fox but, what I've tried to explain to people (which I'm sure you know being from the mountains) is us ole mountain folk knows all the sounds of the critter's and know when it's a critter....an when it's somethin else!! Some people just don't get that lol. I've also heard about the baby too, lots of old timers talked about it.

He killed my 🐕. He didn't do anything like in movies. But my dog did die. Yeah, the problem is when you start using a GOD GIVEN GIFT in a way that is "other". God isn't a liar, so He never takes a gifting back. Even when someone uses it in the wrong way. I have dreams, visions, telepathy, that 2nd sight thing going on. But i learned my lesson 20 years ago to stop messing in the occult. It's wickedness parading as light. And I think we need to be careful of how we present these true accounts of things. I'm not worried about "offending" someones religious craft. Sorry, not sorry. Witchcraft is a big no-no. We all know the numerous bible verses speaking against seers, necromancers, palm readers etc. The faith healers and storm splitters are legit. It's based in faith, they give God all the glory, they don't perform any kind of miracles in their own name, they don't charge money. The Appalachain mountains are basically one enormous open door. There's ancient principalites and powers there and when people hundreds of years ago settled in and started mixing Christianity with pagan, wiccan, pow-wow and/or voodoo practices etc, it propped the door open between realms and its been crazy active ever since. All the things there have a spiritual legal right to be there. But if someone is walking in the full authority of Jesus, then everything is under their feet. Period. You walk your property line and bless it, you call for fiery hedges for protection, and you ask God for angels to be in the battle beside you. You take commamd and you send things packing. It's strange that the old timers were so into church, but would still mess around with the craft. It's a dangerous line to cross. I hope some serious faith walkers will start doing prayer walks and taking the land back.🙏❤
