Hello Jared there is for lack of the exact name MV calls the device drawing current when bike is shutoff is a type of telemetry box/ theft tracking device. When you buy the MV Agusta models new that have the race kit with them you get a charger. The rule of thumb is if it is parked when at home it is on the charger. Check your bikes battery to see if it has the charger pigtail connected to it. That adapter has a plug that is tucked away that is accessible so you don't have to take the seat off to charge. I don't know if when sold new your model comes with the factory charger or not. Did you get a box of stuff that come with your bike. Watching people unbox MV Agustas they all come with a box of goodies. Bikes that come with the Race Kits get a lot more stuff. That is all I know.

Appreciate the info! It does have the charging plug and I have kept it on a charger but out of all the 30 or so bikes I've owned this is the first one to have this issue

Hello. you have never owned a bike with this type of system I get that. This is just my experience I have had with real time GPS tracking on other vehicles not cell tower position tracking like your phone provides. It has to do with line of site to the satellite. When line of site is broken it goes into searching to establish a signal. Ever have a Garmin indoors back in the day and try to look for something and you were not near a window. That chews up power. In the early days of cell phones do you remember how your phone got hot when you were out of network, and it was searching and how it chewed up your battery life. That is sort of the only perspective I have on the voltage use.

Wayyy easier to get to the battery than on an F3. I have to practically take my F3 apart to get to it under the tank. Also my battery does the same thing. It’s some sort of GPS tracker or something that draws a lot of current from the battery. I have to keep my bike on a charger when I’m not riding it.

For the mirror, I replace the one of my Beutale 1000 rs by the Rizoma Stealth and it suit very well the angular lines of the bike. I am waiting to see all the good idea you will have for the marvellous bike.

The stock exhaust is stainless steel. It’s heavy, restrictive, and way too quiet. So yes we are replacing it with a full titanium, limited edition system made by arrow exclusively for this bike

The battery could be being drained by the mobistat alarm. many guys have disconnected it for that reason.

It looks like it's no different from hiding the license plate. The camera is positioned low so the license plate is clearly visible, but it seems like it would be difficult to identify the license plate on a vehicle with a high garage.

Be careful with that wheel nut. Don’t know what kind of socket you are using, and you might already know this. However, on my 2015 MV Dragster RR (also single swing), the teeth on the nut are actually slightly tapered. If you use a ”regular” 55mm socket it will feel like it fits, but it will, in fact, only partially grab the nut. Seen some people on the forums ripping those teeth to shreds using a regular 55mm socket. The nut looks identical to the one on my bike, but I don’t know if it, in fact, is the same design. I have s specialist aluminum socket that I only use for the MV.

I always prefer having as much space around the rear tail section and wheel as possible. But the rear muffler can always be changed so I can always snag the titanium 4 exit if we all decide we don't like the shorter single version
