There was a LAN event of F1Esports (with only one race, cause it's a mess) and he won it. In controlled and monitored environoment, so no cheating. No one really knows what happened on F122 (maybe he was cheating, maybe not) but on 23 he's clean.

Oh everyone knows he was cheating on 22. And they know how. But without physical evidence in hand, you can't make that accusation in public without consequences. So everyone has to play nice now and wait, becuase they know he's going to do it again. EA still didn't fix the issue he was exploiting on the previous game. Once a dishonest scum, always a dishonest scum. As for his winning the 1st race this year, it really proves nothing. All it proves is that he practiced a shit load for that race. Everyone knows he's a fast driver. eSports level, legitimately. That's why his cheating is even more ridiculous. And don't even get me started about his lack of racecraft and inability to pass people without contact.

It’s possible he loaded an external program on his pc at the LAN but there is NO evidence for this.

@@OCinneide There was nothing to load the program from. All the equipment was provided for them and none of the competitors brought any electronics to the scene. Unless he can quickly code some cheats with a fanatec wheel he has to be clean (or at least clean for the duration of the event). That being said his performance during League races this year looks preety in line with that race and not really suspicious (for one his cornering speed doesn't look like some supernatural mystery anymore). And it really wouldn't male sense otherwise, cause why cheat in practice, when you can't do that on the big stage. All of this makes me believe that no matter what he did on 22 (and we will probably never know) he's racing clean in 23.
