Someone being hated shouldn't be something we love saying, even if he did something wrong PS: cant believe I i'm getting insulted because i'm asking people to be respectful. I'm not saying that he should have cheated, or that the fact that he is cheating isn't anoying, because it is, as it is ruining the sport, and he should be criticised for that. However, criticising is not the same as insulting. He did not hurt anyone (at least physically), and there is much worse people than him, plus his career is probably done now, so he is already being punished for his mistakes. I could understand that someone who personally compete with him, such as Jarno, could get mad at him and even insult him, but random people who aren't competing in f1 e-sports have no reason to do so.

Imagine if they added a "Race Director" option when creating a lobby, allowing the host to review footage in real-time and remove or add penalties that they deem the game logic got wrong during the race. They could even give Drivers an option to hit a button during or just after an incident that sends a notification to the Race Director including a timestamp in the Replay file that the Race Director could jump to and re-watch what happened. Maybe even swap between different drivers views in the replay to get the best overall sense of what happened. We can dream...

I know exactly how you feel. I used to play rocket league competitively and after a while I started to absolutely hate the game. Going to practice, tournament and lans was so much work and stress. On top of all those issues the game is in a terrible state with awful servers and core mechanics of the game not working. Some advice for you: leave it alone. Leave the game and don’t come back for a few months and instead find another game. This gave the opportunity to come back into competitive play(not only RL but other games) with a positive attitude.

Why can't a lobby have a Race Director so that any league races and esports officials can actually have some adjudication over things like penalties? Would be like a superior spectator and have the ability to remove penalties etc. This just makes so much sense, and honestly is absolutely one of the most simplistic things to add into a game like this! If they can't disable drive-through or stop and go penalties (which may be more involved as it's part of the pit stop work flow) then at least give a "god" role as an option so officiators can fucking officiate!

Jarno, you are 53 times more experienced than I am But I thought your engineer would have said "give position back" as it s a slam dunk 5 seconds pen if you ignore the message. And 5 second in the pit is likely to cost more than 2 positions lost. Very surprised neither of you two thought it would be wiser to give 2 positions back rather than accept an undodgeable 5 sec pen. I m aware in the action you don t want to concede but that s why you have a race engineer to make a call he knows is the best for your overall result. Keen to hear everyone s thought about this.

You should really play in big sim racing endurance races like the sim 24h of le mans. It's basically free content because you can stream the whole race and upload highlights to your channel. I'm not saying you have to do entire 24h races, but even 2.4h races would be fun.
