Really good description of the safety feature to use with children’s smart phones. There are many reasons why a child might need a smart phone, and people need to realize that it can be done safely. Also, in high school, I worked at a snack shop at the mall my senior year-mid 1970s. I popped practically tons of popcorn and we also made caramel corn. My first day on the job, I was assigned to cook the red candy used to make those candied apples like at the fair! I was particularly good at operating the cotton candy machine. I realize this really has little to do with your video, but your popcorn memories triggered my memories!

Hello! I have been watching your videos for a short while, along with a few other Jewish women occasionally. I am a Christian but I find it important to educate yourself on other cultures and religions. I would love to sometime see a video on the basics of Judaism. I know that could get long, and not necessarily a Q&A. I would find it very helpful in understanding more! Just your everyday rituals/laws that you follow, maybe more Shabbot rules/laws and the other main ways of living that would be different than most other people. I find it much more helpful to watch than try researching online! And I know you probably touch on just about everything all throughout your videos but having one specific one dedicated to being Jewish would be very fascinating!

I applaud you for seeking better history sources. As a former history major I would also suggest including historical information beyond conflicts. The Industrial Revolution sets the stage for a discussion on climate change. The cultural changes in the 20's with women voting, the Jazz age and the Harlem Renaissance is an interesing connection to current day. FDR's approach to the social safety net during the Depression has ramifications in debate today. And the issue of Civil Rights begins at the 1932 Republican Convention, moves through the 40's and is in full bloom by 1954 with the Brown decision. Anyway, just a suggestion.

History through literature is one of my favorite ways to learn it. Historical fiction is my favorite genre to read for pleasure. Number the Stars is one of my favorite books. The Hiding Place is a very good book. The movie was also very good. The Diary of Anne Frank is another favorite. Across Five Aprils by Irene Hint is a very good one for Civil War study. It may be more suited for when your children are older(middle/high school age). If I can remember correctly some of the language may be a “little rough” but it is so good. Have a great week and blessed Shabbat.
