Just about everyone here mentioned the weight disparity and I agree. Lara was basically fighting a cruiserweight that night. It was close. I always wanted to see Hurd vs Munguía, but Hurd took a break after his first loss and was never the same again.

Perdió con Canelo por que no ofreció pelea, se dedicó a la defensa y no a superar a Canelo, nunca se paró a pelear, Canelo le metía buenas manos en los flancos y ni eso lo paró, seguía corriendo por todo el ring. Conectó unos buenos golpes pero eso no era suficiente para merecer o quitarle el cinturón de campeón mundial. Si se hubiera parado a pelear probablemente hubiera ganado, pero contra Canelo se portó como si él fuera el campeón y Canelo el retador. Así no se quita un cinturón de Campeón por decisión de los jueces-

Los jueces al retador que no ofrece pelea. Lara metio buenas manos a la defensiva pero Canelo tambien metio buenas manos el los flancos al ataque, en conclusión: ambos metieron buenas manos pero Canelo a pesar de ser el campeón mantuvo el tren del combate, siempre estuvo al ataque, por lo tanto los jueces dieron por ganador al Canelo. Se hizo justicia, Lara no buscó el cinturón y así no se gana el título por decisión de los jueces
